Segments

  • Show open and studio banter 0:12–1:32
Ben opens the show by name from the Pathway studios in Johnston. The studio is chilly and the hosts joke that everyone wearing glasses makes it a 'dork fest.'
  • Night's lineup and Mike's society teaser 1:35–2:07
Mike's thesis is teased: 'Society is Christianity's biggest problem, but not for the reason you think.' Tonight's game is Secular vs Solomon, played as the two hosts versus the live chat.
  • Pre-game rag on Dan's game record 2:07–3:30
The hosts rag on Dan's Secular vs Solomon record: brilliant at locating verses off-air, helpless once the game starts. Dan blames the multiple Bible translations.
  • Menu teaser: game, proof 14, and a maybe-advice segment 3:30–4:32
The night's menu: Secular vs Solomon, proof number 14 from godisimaginary.com ('examine Jesus' miracles'), and a possible advice segment on 'dear life' that they admit they may never get to. The Scientology phone-call story is teed up next.
  • The 6:55 AM Scientology phone call 4:32–9:35
A host recounts a Saturday 6:30 AM phone call from a man who said he wanted to switch to Scientology. The call looped with 'thanks' and strange spacey background music in 20-second snippets for about 15 minutes, until the caller hung up and switched off his phone. The host wrestles with whether he failed at witnessing by going to work instead of staying on the line.
  • Why do you have faith? Bible knowledge and denominations 9:35–12:20
Spinning off the call, the hosts ask why they have faith in Jesus and note how many professing Christians know nothing about him. They recall a Pew Research study showing non-denominational Christians score highest on Bible knowledge, attributing it to being Bible-focused rather than beholden to denominational tradition and liturgy.
  • Society is Christianity's biggest problem 12:20–19:58
Mike's thesis unpacked: the problem is not a hostile society but the church's fixation on protesting, boycotting, and culture-warring instead of living for Christ. The hosts pitch a new show slogan, 'as you go, make disciples,' and riff on a satirical 'sin of the week' segment the church could adopt instead of starting another protest group.
  • Station ID and promos 20:00–20:35
Station ID and promos: livefromthepath.org, the YouTube channels (livefromthepath and thepathonline, joked to be 'popular with the senior citizens'), flowing straight into the game-show intro.
  • Secular vs Solomon game intro and rules 20:35–23:04
The game intro for 'America's fastest growing internet game show,' Secular vs Solomon. After a joke warm-up proverb ('a priest's beard is always in the butter,' guessed Russia), the rules are set: guess secular or Solomon, guess the country of origin for secular ones, and judge whether a secular saying is still biblical in principle. Two hosts versus the chat tonight.
  • Round 1: Go often to the house of a friend 23:04–26:11
'Go often to the house of a friend, for weeds soon choke up the unused path.' Mike guesses Solomon, Dan guesses secular, the chat weighs in with 'Sal' (shorthand for Solomon). The answer is secular, Swedish, followed by a digression about a chat regular who kept mispronouncing Gore Vidal.
  • Round 2: Dead flies in the perfumer's ointment 26:11–28:43
'Dead flies make the perfumer's ointment give off a stench.' Guesses split; the answer is Solomon (Ecclesiastes 10:1), prompting a riff on dead flies ruining a life defined by wisdom and honor.
  • Round 3: A blind man who sees 28:43–30:12
'A blind man who sees is better than a sighted man who is blind.' The room leans secular, with guesses of Iran and Korea. The host teases Dan about not getting a point for a secular guess, and a lone 'Solomon' is uttered as the game moves on, so the announced verdict is unclear in the transcript.
  • Round 4: The serpent charmer 30:12–32:01
'If the serpent bites before it is charmed, there is no advantage to the charmer.' Dan guesses secular (India); the answer is Solomon (Ecclesiastes 10:11), with Johnny Quest and Annie jokes and a chat commenter's 'don't poke the bear.'
  • Round 5: Hatred stirs up strife 32:01–32:51
'Hatred stirs up strife but love covers all offenses.' A host notes it sounds like the Apostle Paul; the answer is Solomon (Proverbs 10:12).
  • Round 6: The elephant and the buffalo 32:51–36:00
'If there were no elephant in the jungle, the buffalo would be a great animal.' Guesses range from Chad to 'Africa's a country'; the verdict is secular, not biblical. A Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan joke and a riff on relativism follow: Jesus is 'the great decider,' and the buffalo remains 'the king of the dumbest.'
  • Round 7: The rebuke of the wise 36:02–39:30
'It is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools.' The answer is Solomon (Ecclesiastes 7:5), rendered 'English standard style,' spawning the 1-800 rebuke hotline joke and a church in Topeka that 'already has that number.'
  • Round 8: Gold buttons on a torn coat 39:30–41:14
'Don't put gold buttons on a torn coat.' The hosts compare it to 'gold in a pig's snout' and 'don't cast your pearls before swine'; the answer is secular, Albania.
  • Round 9: If a tree falls to the south or north 41:14–44:28
'If a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where the tree falls there it will lie.' After a Norway/Switzerland/Alps debate and a riff on cultural judgments about 'simpletons,' the answer is secular.
  • Game wrap and Secular vs Solomon t-shirts 44:28–45:30
Game wrap: the host declares victory (citing the elephant-and-buffalo logic), asks for a proper game ending theme, and plugs the Secular vs Solomon t-shirts on the show's Spreadshirt store, 'at no profit to us.'
  • Proof 14 read: examine Jesus' miracles 45:30–48:41
Proof number 14 from godisimaginary.com is read aloud: if someone claimed to be God today you would demand rock-solid proof; Jesus gets no pass for living 2,000 years ago; if he were God he should have written a book and left tangible evidence. Includes a comedic voice impression of the proof's Christian spokesman, which the host says sounds like Mr. Gower, teasing Mike.
  • Rebuttal: the circus analogy and eyewitness testimony 48:41–54:01
Rebuttal part one: the circus analogy. The host's grandpa took him to the circus at age five; with no photos, a skeptic could deny it ever happened, yet four of grandpa's friends wrote accounts of his life. The point: everything we accept is based on someone's observation and testimony (even gravity is 'a reportable offense'), and the proof's author arrogantly dismisses eyewitnesses simply because he disagrees with them.
  • Rebuttal: the omitted miracles and the conspiracy argument 54:01–59:36
Rebuttal part two: the proof author cherry-picked low-brow miracles (water into wine) while ignoring the raising of the dead (three occasions, including himself) and the feeding of the 5,000 with thousands of witnesses. A fabricated story would require an impossible conspiracy in the first century, when living opponents could have refuted it; the apostles' martyrdoms (John boiled alive, then exiled to an island) make a hoax motive absurd.
  • Sign-off: next week's proof and gossip 59:36–1:00:46
Sign-off: 'God wins again,' week 14 closed. Next week brings proof number 15 (examine Jesus' resurrection) and a gossip topic, plus final promos for the website and YouTube channels.

Live from the Pathway Studios in Johnston proper You are live from the Path This Monday night I hope you're spending your time wisely This is not the way to go I think this is the way to go It's not the way to go The outward appearances are This is the problem I think it's going to be just fine Man, a studio looks like an empty Well, dance now Hey, you better start fading it out It's going to cut out It's going to sound ridiculous There we go All right Mike, raise that camera upon yourself So it's not looking up at you Like there's a little kid Trying to stare up at you Hey, you're listening to Live from the Path My name is Ben Foost Thanks for joining us here This lovely Monday evening It's chilly in the studio And Dan Hudson decided to

I can't take it It's like we had some kind of dork fest in here Everybody wearing their glasses All right So here's what we got going on tonight Yeah, Dan Yeah, we fired it up That's awesome Yeah, we're ready I'm glad to be here So here's what we're going to do Mike says Mike says Society is Christianity's biggest problem But not for the reason you think Yeah Yeah Okay, so we're going to find out Society is Christianity's biggest problem Yep Okay But not for the reason that you think Not the reason that I normally hear churches say Okay All right, all right So we're going to figure out what that is We're doing around a secular versus Solomon tonight

Are we really? Yeah Yeah So it's just you two It's you two versus the chat Okay, see this is going to be really embarrassing for Dan Because Dan is terrible at this game Like, here's the deal I'm awesome We get him outside of this radio show Here's what happens He goes I say Well, Bob, what we talk about is Dan goes Somewhere in Isaiah I think it's Isaiah 7 And then he'll nail it, right? You know, but as soon as he plays this game He acts like he's never seen the Bible ever And he just starts throwing out random guesses And they're not even close And all we're worried about is Solomon I will not be pressured Here's the deal Because I download the podcast And listen to this show

So I can critique Dan And he is He is terrible at this game That's a full-time job I have to listen to it six times And go, is that really Dan? Being wrong again on Secular Solomon? And it always is It's got to be I mean, it's a building block There's places for you to go, Dan I really I blame the multiple translations I sit there and I try to think now Is that NIV? Or is that ESV? And I decide Well, how would they have twisted that differently? That's pretty close I like how Dan represents Different Bible versions As twists of Scripture Now here's the good part, right? Like, the fact that the Bible is How do you want to say? Continuous? Not continue

What's the word where I want to say Is the same throughout? Immutable Okay, it's immutable Right? So if you say a phrase And you're like That could be anywhere in the Bible You know, that's pretty solid, right? You're like The Bible's pretty straightforward And says the same thing Over and over again It's more likely to be true, right? If it was darting all over the map And saying crazy stuff Every two seconds Then you could be like Well, I doubt the validity of this thing But immutable Yeah I use that word in a daily basis I can't believe it didn't come to mind I use it a lot I always have that problem When the commercials come on Or TV's immutable

And waking people up Hell That's what you can expect For the next at least 58 minutes Okay, so we're going to do Secular versus Solomon Also, we're on proof number 13 From thegodisimaginary.com, man Or 14, excuse me And it's examine Jesus' miracles So he wants to take a look At Jesus' miracles And poof upon them So we're going to take a look And see what he's got Proof number 14 From thegodisimaginary.com, man Also, our advice on dear life And the past people need help Times are rough Yeah The climate's changing It's causing people issues And they have questions And we're here to help We have answers Yeah

You know what? And if we get to it We'll see if we get to it But I had the weirdest Conversation with somebody this week Just on the whole Like it was very little talking And they called me And told me that they've decided To go with Scientology And they wanted to know What I thought Whoa I'm afraid we're going to have To get to that You want to do it now? Yeah, yeah, yeah Okay, so Okay, so Saturday morning I'm driving to work I had to work this Saturday For a little bit At 6.30 in the morning I'm driving in right And I get a phone call And I pick it up And I say

Hello, this is Mike And he says Mike, how you doing? And I say Blah, blah, blah Pleasantry, pleasantry And he goes Well, the reason I'm calling Is I've decided to Change it To go with a religion And I wanted to know What you thought And so I took a deep breath And went Well, there's only one Jesus That died for you And there's only one God In heaven So if that's not the choice That you made I'm still going to love you And be your friend But I think you should Reconsider whatever you picked And he said I'm going with Scientology

I didn't see that coming I said, okay So here's the deal Like I have to be at work At 7 And so I'm driving there You know And I thought I don't think I have Near enough time for this You know And I said Well, what drew you To Scientology? He goes There's things I really Connect with And I said Well, let's start with one Let's hear one thing You know And he goes You know Just the way they think And the way they live I said You don't know anything

About Scientology Do you? I said You know It was founded By a science fiction writer Right? He goes You know I just Thanks Thanks, Mike Thanks And this is where The weirdness started Right? That wasn't the weird part So the whole time He's talking There's a weird Spacey music Going on in the background I'm not kidding It's like A phone call You see in a movie Right?

Something goes So this And it played In like 20 second snippets And then it paused And then it started over again And then So the rest of the conversation Was 15 more minutes And I would say Hey Hey And he would go What? Thanks, Mike Thanks And then 10 seconds would pass And I'd say Did you stay up all night Or did you just get up This early on a Saturday? Thanks, Mike Thanks Weird music Start over This went on for 10 minutes

And then he hung up on me And then he shut off his phone Tell me what you make of that I feel like that's weird So here's what I was trying to decide Is he prank calling you? No, no Because that's Scientology thing That's kind of a prank call religion So here's the weird part Here's what I was trying to decide Because I was trying to decide If I was failing As my job to witness to this man Because obviously he is struggling With I mean If not one thing Multiple things are going on here Right? Yeah I suspected Narcotics But I can't prove that either way But it's I mean

It's 6.55 in the morning And I need to be at work In five minutes Right? Yeah I'm like What do I do here? Like Here's the thing It could just be Another weird thing And a long line of weird things And I just go I'm going to work You know Or do I be like Okay I gotta skip work Or I gotta You know I can only call in For so many legitimate reasons Before work starts to go You're not dependable You know And so

What do I even call and say Look I got this weird phone call Some guy wanted to switch to Scientology I can't come in I don't think they're gonna care You know That's just not I mean It doesn't play It doesn't play I mean If I called you fellas On a Monday night And said Look I had this weird phone call I'm gonna go talk to somebody That's different Yeah You know But like My legitimate job that pays me Keeps my family in food and diapers I have to go You know And so I struggled I'm like For five minutes

I'm like What do I do And frankly After that weird conversation How effective am I really gonna be Going over there You know Like I mean Thanks Mike Weird Scientology music No silence And then silence And then Thanks Mike And thanks Thanks And then he shut off his phone I thought If there's a way to reach this gentleman I'm at a loss I don't know how it's done I used everything I could I said If you didn't go with The Lord Jesus Christ And God the Father above I think you made a mistake

That was my pitch And then And then it all went downhill from there I mean This guy He knows your position right Oh yeah We've talked about it I mean a million times So I mean It's kind of a weird deal To call somebody up That you know loves Jesus To go Hey I want to know what you think About me going with Scientology Right Remember that House built on sand And house built on rock thing You told me I've gone with the sand I like the sand I decided the sand was the way Are you okay with that Mike There's a lot more variety with sand

Yeah You know I get to be the sand Like I mean I get people They choose to do something else right They decide that They don't believe what you believe They want to believe something else Like I get that I don't get calling up somebody else That you know doesn't think that at all And asking what they think I want your approval And telling I'm telling you I'm going to do the exact opposite Of everything that you've told me Jesus tells me to do Are you cool with that We think man And check out the spacey music I put behind it This really makes it This really lands the point It's the weirdest thing I've ever been involved in

I seriously did not know how to act That is odd Especially I mean Who knows anybody Who's in Scientology To go I like the way they live No doubt right Like where did you get Where did you get this information from Right John Travolta and I We're like this Do you go to I think they are You're right Apart from how wacky I think Scientology is Right Like I know way more About it than he does You know Like I know it's ridiculous Here's the reasons XXX why I think it's dumb And is not really A legitimate religion

It's just a guy And a crazy idea And people bought into it And he He couldn't even Explain any tenets Of the faith You know Like my faith is It's pretty cool You know Like how many people Are sold for Jesus When you're like Why is it that you have A faith in Jesus Christ Oh it's tops It's just the tops It's just really neat There's nothing better Or worse It's something I would say That's more than you think I would say There's a lot of people Who

They claim to follow Follow Jesus And know nothing about him Right They know nothing About God in general Like their God Is really like a broad Spiritual being Not a Not a God of the Bible Type of guy You know It would be pretty interesting To see Like if they put a poll out Or did a survey Of like how much Like how far The depth of the Average Christian goes Right Like everybody can say Jesus died for my sins I need to do better Right But like

How much farther Past that You know Do you get Yeah Well they did Remember that Pew research thing They did We looked at it A couple years ago About how much People actually know About the Bible And it was a Disappointing showing Like the Evangelical Christians Non-denom type guys Were the Highest among the Christian segments Why Why is that Why are non-denominational Tend to score higher In that action

Well You think because They're not as beholden To tradition And so they spend Their time on the Bible Well I think They end up being Non-denominational And they tend to Stick with The Bible as the basis Or at least Represent that That's the case Right There's not Any other Governing Papers Documents Mores Whatever to follow Yeah Because I mean When you get In certain denominations

Right You spend half your time Learning the liturgy The stuff That the denomination Is specific to That is at least Most is quasi-biblical But like You're memorizing Those things As opposed to Some of the more Specific items In the Bible Sometimes you spend More time Committing yourself To that Belief system Than to Jesus And the non-denominational Tends to say Hey let's introduce you To your savior Jesus And let's just

Follow him You know It's funny That kind of leads Into that Society conversation That I was talking about But I was thinking About this on my way in And like I hear this all the time And it's actually Really starting to put A little bit of a pit In my stomach Because I'll listen to Like every once in a while When I'm driving around And I catch my Cuckabee show You know While I'm driving around And he's a pastor And you know And every day He's talking about the gay The gay issue

He's talking about the gay You know The gay I didn't know All right It came out weird I don't say it very often So every day It's about the homosexual agenda Every day it's about The Chick-fil-A And about This hate group Did this hate You know Whatever And every day It's the same thing I mean He keeps a biblical Tacked on it So I don't have Much of a problem With that But like Every time I happen to run into it

I'm like Is this the only issue This is it This is all you have To talk about all the time And then When I was driving Here to the show today It occurred to me Like Society is Christianity's Biggest problem But not because It's pulling us away From Jesus It's because They're not connected To Jesus right It's because They're pulling us away As a distraction You know what I'm saying Like that's all they are It's a huge distraction And you know what You watch the You watch the king of Persia

Sit there and twist his beard And go You're not thinking about Jesus You're too busy Thinking about society You're busy Like you just get Distracted so easily Like you You get people Standing up there At hellfire and brimstone And they're like Society is ruining this And this society Is terrible Worse than any other society And society is society And you know what You know what you're doing right now You're just distracted From your relationship with Christ And you're distracted From living your life for Jesus Because you're worried about Everybody else again You know like

It's so obvious But sneaky It's really sneaky And I think it's Extremely pervasive And it's hard to do It's hard to walk that line In a A Christ loving manner Right Like the homosexual thing You know I'm just so tired Of hearing about it Like seriously I just am I agree it's an issue I agree they need Jesus But so does every other sinner Out there Including me So stop worrying about them So much You know what I'm saying Like live your life For Christ Talk to people

Who you run into About Jesus Let your life show The candle in the sill And the city on the hill And just do that Right Stop Wait Stop Stop devoting So much of your time Starting another Protest group Or trying to Irk people off By saying something You know Outlandish Just to get their attention You know what Just live for Christ And let that be As you go Like I feel like We should just change Our slogan of this show

To as you go Make disciples Because really That's what it all Boils down to And think how easily We get distracted You know What someone's infringing On our freedom As a Christian beliefs Read the whole Bible That's all it was That's the whole thing The whole thing Is people infringing On their beliefs That's the whole Bible So take a cue From what God's told you And just Do it Just love Jesus And walk That's what I think One of my difficulties With what you're saying

Is that As a culture A lot of times The church Tries to get the culture To just act like us We don't care if you really Go to church Or if you believe in Jesus Just act like us And look like us Back in the Like they did in the 50's And everybody was happy It's like Well they're still going to hell Right And it's actually Kind of harder to get That they're going to hell If there's nothing You know Well I'm already living moral You know There's no real contrast To what Christ says to live I'm already living that way

I just don't believe Right It looks like I'm doing The right thing I almost kind of prefer A depraved society So we can say Hey guess what Wow That didn't work for you Did it No it didn't Right Let me show you that away Right And there's an actual contrast I don't know I feel like it's just A huge distraction And like people I respect You know For the church That they lead Or the things that they do And Christians Who I hold in high regard

Like they get sucked in Just as easy As everybody else You know They find themselves Battling And kicking And fighting For nothing I mean seriously How many protest groups And like Apart from being part Of the body of Christ How many groups Do you really want to be in You know what I'm saying Why don't you just be in The body of Christ And do your job And then you can worry About starting your own Spin off of this I hate this sin dot com You know Like it just seems like Such a terrible waste of time

I think I think you're right To the extent that It is dangerous When you're fixating More of our time On what other people Got going on And not enough time On what Jesus has going on And I think we do that And it may be At least partially Well intentioned To the thought that Well Jesus needs to be Where bad things are going on And like I get it But ultimately That's you trying to Force God's hand As opposed to just Yeah he's already there Right Like if he's calling you To join in The conversation

Join in the battle Then you better get going But you don't have to stop Get 15 people on board With you Run a fundraiser And print up stickers Why don't you just go do it Yeah You know we need A t-shirt No one's gonna No one's gonna know Christ sent me here Unless I get a t-shirt Seriously They're gonna think I'm rogue I'm a rogue Jesus man And the truth is That's what you are Get in there Maybe God just wanted To send one guy And you blew this thing Way up Like a scoundrel You know

You made it into A huge issue When really it was just you And there was one guy In there where his heart Was soft And the Holy Spirit Been working on him And all you had to do Was show up and say Hey I love you God loves you We both screwed up Let's talk about this thing You know what I'm saying And instead you bring 15 guys Like some kind of bully You know And you know actually That happens too And 14 of those guys Have no idea They're just there Because someone else was going Yeah Yeah yeah I support

Yeah Jesus Everybody support again Yeah Yeah yeah yeah Yeah where's that shirt I hate triangles You never see a triangle In the Bible Have you read every word of it I just You know You know I'm just as guilty about this Not as much Because I'm fairly Whatever I don't protest You know But like I mean I get wrapped In the politics Are just like this You know what I'm saying Every hot button issue Comes up And all of a sudden

Everybody wants to puff up And then put the Lord's name Behind them And say We're doing this Because this is what Jesus had done Like Jesus was born A Republican And whatever You know It just It is what it is Man Just live your life Ask the Holy Spirit What he's got going And say Look Can I help And God will say Yeah I can use you Or no You're causing me Too much trouble Go back and read your Bible

And then we'll talk about it I think the issue here Is you're jealous We don't have An official life In the past sin We're against We should do a sin of the week Yeah we should We can like a hat We can make a sign Hats Okay Okay I'm turning around On this Sin of the week Okay I mean Is it a game show Or are we going to describe it Or what's going to happen I don't know Do I have to admit to it Or Well we just need to call people out Tell them they need to change their ways

We need legislators Following people are guilty This week's sin The nation's going down Murder How many have murdered Dan Man Sin of the week Okay we'll work it in I feel like that might be a distraction I mean it's not Yeah You know what Maybe you're right Maybe we just need to be Equal opportunity Sinning against God Oh man It covers a lot of ground though I mean Coveting's in there Pride's in there Pride I mean we take three weeks on pride Can we make some up Yeah

I mean if it's not in the Bible That means it must be wrong Yeah Wallpaper's not mentioned I've heard that the neighbor Has wallpaper I talked about them triangles I feel like we have the hotline to Jesus He's just He's just speaking through us You know He's just coming up I didn't have time I didn't have time They kept killing my disciples I really I had a lot more to say You're listening to Live from the Path We are here every Monday night From 10 to 11 p.m. Central time On livefromthepath.org You can catch us during the week You can go to our YouTube channel That's youtube.com Backslash livefromthepath Or you can check the full live show Video and all

Internet game show We call it Secular Versus Solomon And now For America's fastest growing game show Secular Or Solomon Everybody can see When you do that Sorry Don't move the mouse Put a little bit in the same category Put a hat I sold a That's sort of Popinski No That's the macho man Guy You can see the tail in the back You listen to the back Hey So here's the deal Secular vs. Solomon America's fastest growing Internet game show That is on this network

And here are the rules So I'm going to give you a Mike where did you go We only got three guys in the studio I'm talking to Dan We're having a conversation Without you Get used to it That's going to the hat Sinner That's going to the hat We got our We got a replacement host Sven He's got a way with words I was going to try to pull off A Swedish accent But I don't do accents It would sound Pakistani Because that's the only one you got So here's the rules On secular vs. Solomon I will give you a proverb And your job is to tell me Whether that is a secular proverb A word of wisdom from the world Or a word of wisdom from Solomon

Or a biblical word of wisdom If it is a secular word of wisdom I want two things tonight First I want to know where it's from What country, nationality, region It is coming from And also It doesn't even make sense And is it otherwise biblical in principle Even though not taken directly from the Bible Now hold on Did you pick a bunch of ridiculous ones Nope Like the bird's feet aren't far from the frost A priest's beard is always in the butter If you pick that one again That's going to be the third time Do you remember where that's from? Yeah Where? It's Russia It's Russian Yeah That's the Russian proverb No, no So that's the question Let's take a look at some of the

If we've deemed it to be worldly wisdom The question is Is it otherwise sound to a biblical principle If not taken directly from there And also what is the country of origin? That's what we're after Are you guys ready? Chat, are you guys ready? You guys are in It's you and Dan versus the chat tonight Mike I'm going to win Totally Okay Alright, chat Here we go Number one Go often to the house of a friend For weeds soon choke up the unused path Go often to the house of a friend For weeds soon choke up the unused path Secular or Solomon Dan I'm going to say that is Solomon Dan says Solomon Mike Now I remember that being the exact opposite of a Solomon

You don't know Don't go over there all the time Lest they something something If he says both That's very distracting It kind of depends on On how he was doing with his friendships If he had a slow week Then he just said Hey don't go over there If he had a good week He said You should go over I know there was a Solomon Said don't go over there all the time So I'm going to go I'm going to go with secular And I'm going to say Lebanese Okay Dan has biblical Solomon wisdom Mike says it is secular From the Lebanese From Lebanon Chat Chat's in with Sal Big Sal

What's that mean? I'm assuming that's supposed to be Solomon Is that shorthand for Solomon? Sal? You know good old Sal That was one of his wives Okay I certainly wouldn't call him Sal Go ahead Okay I'll have you know though This is from the same guy Who is it that died recently? Telly Savalas? No no no no The guy he couldn't get the name right It was the author Like the playwright guy Oh Gore Vidal So this guy He kept going Vidal Vidal Like it's not Vidal Or it's not Vidal And he wouldn't let it go Like he just insisted upon saying it wrong That's the same guy Okay gotcha

That's the chat guy Okay I know the man Okay go off into the house of a friend For we'd soon choke up the unused path Secular Swedish Yeah Swedish I knew it See Dan I call it I call the game I know it It just makes sense It doesn't make Jesus sense It makes Dan sense So what do you think Biblical principle Go off into the house of a friend For weeds soon choke up the unused path If you don't visit often The way will be blocked And you will no longer be friends Okay no one is stopped by weeds You know what I'm saying Like if you look at something and go

Ugh there's weeds You weren't intent on going anyway You know what I'm saying You could walk through a weed I was going to Bill's house But look at those dandelions I'm also concerned that Bill Has allowed himself to be weeded in If no one comes over I'm not pruning my yard There's a difference Between that society and ours Right I'm like Bill can't even cut his own path You know what I'm saying Like why don't you weed your place Bill Then I would come over more often Instead of I should come over To keep the weeds down Yeah So not necessarily biblical No not biblical Wait I mean Does it matter right Like go visit your buddies

Whatever It's kind of like Working on a relationship He's your neighbor What if you're already friends I think it was your friend Yeah yeah Go off to the house of a friend For we'd soon choke up The unused path No Just be there when he need you He'll cut the grass Before you get there Ready Here we go Sorry I think Okay here we go Next Here's the next proverb You need to tell me Whether it is secular or Solomon Dead flies make the perfumer's ointment Give off a stench So a little folly Outweighs wisdom and honor

Secular or Solomon Dead flies make the perfumer's ointment Give off a stench So a little folly Outweighs wisdom and honor Secular or Solomon Mike That is definitely Solomon He talks very frequently Of dead flies Wisdom and folly You couldn't be more Solomon than that Go ahead Dan Guess something ridiculous I'm gonna say That's a secular King James version Secular King James probably And it's probably some Reformed theology From Russia They're known for their Reformist ways Pants is on for secular Not from Big Sal Alright here we go

Dead flies make the perfumer's ointment Give off a stench So a little folly Outweighs wisdom and honor That is Solomon Ecclesiastes 10-1 Dan is 0 for 2 Tattoo's in for secular I'm sorry Solomon Solomon Ecclesiastes 10 The reformed comment Was for tattoo by the way So what is the What's the principle here A dead fly Guy can have ointment And make it a perfume And a fly dies And it's gonna stink it up And it's gonna ruin The whole batch So just a little bit Of folly outweighs Wisdom and honor Mike have you committed

A little folly this week Yep Yep I'd probably say My life is defined By my folly And not so much My wisdom and honor You are the dead fly In my perfume I Yeah That's probably the truth Although to be honest I'm a I'm 2-0 On secular Solomon Dan is 0-2 That's true Dan Why don't you know The Lord's word How does it feel To be the dead fly Here's the deal For the first time In my life I put on glasses today

And there are these Progressive lenses And I can't think I understand He's having trouble Hearing Nothing's in focus Everything's a fog I'm walking in the walls They said don't drive And I'm like come on I've never felt like I should have a preacher Intervention before Until today You know Dan It's suspected You don't know the bible At all The book on tape It just doesn't stick I focused on the family Said the proverbs Weren't important That's all I'm gonna know Yeah to me wives

Read the last three Chapters of Job You're good I knew I shouldn't Have bought that Tony Robbins Reads Ezekiel Here's the thing You gotta get motivated Here we go Secular Solomon A blind man Who sees A blind man Who sees Is better Than a sighted man Who is blind Agreed Secular Iran Yeah What genius country Pumped this one out I'm sorry Everyone has a chance To vote

Damn I as well I'm going secular You just won't Give him a point For secular A blind man Who sees Is better Than a sighted man Who is blind Korean Secular I ran yeah yeah that's about right guys it's like you ever had one of those guys that like he's a fatherly type but he gives out super obvious advice like now listen son when people are angry

sometimes they're just upset thanks thank you father thanks man I'll keep that in mind here's the thing about life there's always stuff in it pretty profound you know okay blind blind man seeing is better than seeing man not seeing anything noted whenever gravity's around you know something's going down hey I didn't look that up on the internet or anything you made that up on your own I just made that this thing's just come to me I'm sure it'll it'll be a wave of popularity Solomon alright here we go secular Solomon if the serpent bites before it is charmed

there is no advantage to the charmer if the serpent bites before it is charmed there is no advantage to the charmer secular or Solomon Dan secular secular from India India he's gone with the racist example serpent day I used to watch Johnny Quest but it was before I had my glasses I thought I've also seen there is Nick Charmer I've also seen Annie the musical secular Punjab I'm going to go with secular and Brazil tattoos in for secular pants you jumping in on this one he's taking a long alright here we go if the serpent bites before it is charmed there is no advantage to the charmer

Holy Spirit vacuum in the room that is Solomon Ecclesiastes 10-11 that's not in Proverbs I had Proverbs memorized Ecclesiastes 10-11 Solomon except for those other two times oh no the last one was Ecclesiastes 2 wasn't it yeah okay I don't get it okay serpent bites before it is charmed there is no advantage to the charmer if his job is to show that he controls it and can manipulate it and get it to move how he wants it to move and it bites him before it happens how do I apply that to my life? in what situation does that apply to me? don't count your blessings further there it's Ecclesiastes it's meaningless don't bill yourself as a snake charmer if you haven't charmed the snake yet okay so it could be a pride deal

tattoo says don't poke the bear serve no wine before it's time okay I'm going to have to go along with this one and call it a biblical wisdom I've obviously not been following it hatred stirs up strife but love covers all offenses hatred stirs up strife but love covers all offenses secular or Solomon go ahead Dan I'm going Solomon actually it sounds like the Apostle Paul but you know I'm going Solomon a.k.a. Paul Paul he doesn't act like that he does he's short steven Solomon wife number 427 called him Paul I'm going to go Solomon as well hatred stirs up strife but love covers all offense Solomon Proverbs 10 12 yeah

that's where I live Proverbs 10 I remember there we go there we go yeah see things are coming around alright here we go if there were no elephant in the jungle the buffalo would be a great animal I'm going to go secular Zimbabwe if there were no elephant in the jungle the buffalo would be a great animal Dan yeah I'm I'm going to say that's got to be secular and I'm going to say that is Thailand Chad I will not accept Africa that is not a country it's a continent I feel like our viewership is we're reaching out to the wrong people

Africa's a country and a continent is it? yeah South Africa I don't know you've embarrassed us yeah it is is it? Africa's the continent South Africa yeah no boy this is going to be embarrassing when it all shakes out no one knows for sure hey man this is when it's the tops to be late night internet radio ever since that play tectonics took in I've been confused Pence is not nice Pence okay if there were no elephant in the jungle the buffalo would be a great animal secular Ghana

yeah it's right next to Zimbabwe you don't even have any idea where Zimbabwe is it's in Africa okay is it biblical context? is this a biblical bit of wisdom even though it didn't come from the bible? does it fit anything you know of in the bible? no elephant in the jungle just common sense just suddenly that makes that look like a big animal you know here's the deal now hold on Nancy Kerrigan thought the same thing Tonya Harding thought the same thing and so she whooped on the elephant hoping the buffalo would stand Tonya Harding's the buffalo yeah Nancy Kerrigan is the elephant yep and she took out the elephant

so that she would be the great animal yep that's trouble that speaks to my life yeah it's not biblical but it certainly happened you know actually I don't think this is true it says if there are no elephant in the jungle the buffalo would be a great animal like it doesn't make the buffalo great no he's just the guy that what does it mean great as in large yeah I don't know yeah that's what I'm looking at I think it means great as in great like here's like it does kind of speak to more relativism right like yeah are things what they are

or are they what they are in relative to something else right am I good opposed to a guy that's bad you know when the truth is like that's almost the split between like a true relationship in the Christian religion and then just walking your own way is everybody else morality is relative to how many whoever's in the room and their opinion on it and Jesus doesn't look at it like that because he's the great decider he says look this is this is the way it rolls and you can fall on either side of this but realize there's only one right side

right and so the buffalo's not he's not the greatest no matter how he slices he'd kill everybody he's still not the greatest right he's still the buffalo the buffalo's the king of the dumbest yes okay I don't know why I agreed to that but I'm just alright here we go here we go it is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools it is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools secular or Solomon Mike if you hear

rebuke and wise that's Solomon he uses words like that Solomon yeah in Ecclesiastes Ecclesiastes Ecclesiastical Solomon Solomon yeah Proverbs 22-3 chats in with secular it is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools Solomon Ecclesiastes 7-5 sorry dude 7-5 I can't help it that the lord's word sticks with me English standard style so what do I mean it better for a man

to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song to delight in the song of fools yeah that actually goes right against the phrase the common proverb of ignorance is bliss right no it's not it's better for you to hear the rebuke from the wise man yeah I'm with it hey man you think you could you think you could open up a phone line or 1-800 rebuke and it's kind of your job people just call you up and you just rebuke them I totally work there if you staff a wise man yeah it takes a little bit of a pomposity

to be the staff at the rebuke center I think there's a church in Topeka that already has that number hey man no cheating at the bible gateway who's are they looking up verses I don't know you might be I feel like I feel like you'd have a lot of people showing up to your place saying the Holy Spirit has led me to be the rebuker I'm your man you know there's a lot of people that think I sit in such a position that I should be rebuking others and excuse me why I started another protest group

I really don't like people in fact as soon as they come in and say I'm the man you say you've just proven you're not get out of here actually maybe that's the downfall of the Catholic priesthood is the lack of rebuke going on in that thing in that box like people just go in and say here's my stuff I mean I always see it on the TV right but it doesn't look like there's a lot of rebuke going on yeah you know what actually is that the way it works Dan do you know anything

about professional I'd like to build one here and just see if we can use it that I can use it what do you mean you're going to say it I need to know so there's rumors there's a lot of people out here in the church that are addicted to gambling they can tell me all their stuff then I can they can people man you really speak to me how do you know that stuff well you told me the Holy Spirit has led me to believe there's a gambling problem here also that I set up a gossip box that box with the curtain has helped me as well Penn says that is how it works man alive yeah they don't

they don't they don't so maybe that's the issue right is that there's no spiritual authority there you know what I'm saying like you know God has set in place leaders to be your spiritual authority beholden to the Bible here on earth and if you don't have one they're just like you know God Jesus says your prayers are forgiven or whatever but like don't change your life at all we're just going to keep forgiving you you know

have you really done anything go out and have fun I'll be here right you would be way better if you had a rebuke box where someone came in and said you know man hey I've done the following things some guys are like repent yeah how do you how do you how do you live with yourself it's a good thing you know Jesus because really I'm very mad at you but he weeps at the moment but he's crying he'll forgive you in two to three minutes yeah yeah repent box

why do they got to look like an outhouse it's like an in-house outhouse alright alright there we go so yeah Solomon don't put gold buttons on a torn coat don't put gold buttons on a torn coat secular or Solomon damn that has some Solomon-esque ideas but I'm gonna go secular George Washington secular the country of George Washington I heard coat and gold I said doggone it that's George Washington that's gotta be he put all those buttons on so they wouldn't wipe their noses that's historic

okay so I don't trust Dan with anything ever again and I'm gonna I'm gonna go with Solomon this rings of gold in the pig's snout I'm going with Solomon chats in with secular USA don't put gold buttons secular England everyone likes an English other countries don't know gold in the excess that you can put it on a coat okay don't do this gold let's put it on my coat don't put gold buttons on a torn coat secular Albanian Albanian huh is there a country

called Albania yeah is it still in existence yeah where is it they make proverbs I don't know that's our major our major export is proverbs we produce vanilla bark and proverbs here's a wise man call him yeah yeah so I I kind of liken this to don't cast your pearls before swine yeah yeah that's what I say it was Solomon-esque yeah although pearls before swine yeah

proverbs or ecclesiastes I have no idea Matthew that's a Jesus thing yeah yeah I don't know what else you want me to say about it Albania here we go if the cloud if a tree falls to the south or to the north in the place where the tree falls there it will lie secular or Solomon this is the same this is the same guy that puts out the other obvious one about the blind man what country was that one from Iran

I resubmit Iran secular Dan if a tree falls to the south or to the north in the place where the tree falls there it will lie I'm going to go secular as well but I'm thinking where's a good timber place Dan what kind of simpletons you think write these proverbs like they walk out their front door and go this applies to me directly mailbox the guy who opens his mailbox receives letters

proverbs it's got to be Switzerland it's got to be somewhere in the Alps or something because you know you know Dan not everybody thinks like you you know what I'm saying it just takes in your 180 view of life it goes oh yeah I smell a problem this is easy I'm sure these cultural judgments are somewhat offensive to somebody trees eh Norway you love trees all of you I love the Norwegian pine

if a tree falls to the south or to the north in the place where the tree falls there it will lie Mike will regret his characterization of this from Ecclesiastes he's 11-3 dang it what simpleton sometimes he's got to speak on my level that other stuff goes over my head here we go you listen to Secular vs. Solomon on Live from the Path America's fastest growing internet game show we just have a couple more here do not protect yourself by offense

but rather by your friends do not protect yourself by offense but rather by your friends Secular or Solomon no wonder he can't clean his weeds up he's over at your place standing guard that's Secular I ran damn I think where do they where do they have fences uh Fort Knox Ethiopia uh chat Secular Secular down south I feel like you guys are getting big there we go

do not protect yourself by offense but rather by your friends Secular Czechoslovakia yeah that's right next to Iran the fences didn't work out well for them uh no no the Czechs and the Slovenes are running into some trouble uh what do you think biblical wisdom lies underneath it protect yourself by uh by friends not fence yeah

I don't think it even matters your friends go with you it's just not an interesting conversation home is where the heart is home is where your friends are no I'm at home right now see how right I was about the conversation not being interesting I feel protected just nothing interesting about it I feel secure let it go uh let's see how many more of these you got Ben no no that was it that was it we're tapped you uh unbeknownst to yourself

if you are not a wise man and call the rebuke hotline have been listening to Live from the Path and participated in America's fastest growing internet game show Secular versus I'm pretty sure I won Solomon okay you know what that statement goes right along with the elephant and the buffalo right like just cause you beat a bunch of buffalo doesn't make you great Secular or Solomon I really need to get an ending so I don't have to play the beginning again

it's pretty low rant yeah you can fade it out I think we need a buffalo and a elephant I gotta get one of those shirts hey so if you go to the website if you go to livefromthepath.org I think there's still a link out there you can go to our spreadshirt site and you can order the Secular versus Solomon t-shirts hanging out there really yeah yeah at no profit to us really we just designed a shirt and put it out there I think my wife has purchased like three life from the past shirts and they're all actually pretty high quality I think we should have Jared mass produce them

at little to no cost to me maybe drop them from a blimp that get a lot of attention it'd go far alright here we go we are on proof number 14 we're walking through the 50 proofs from godisimaginary.com this is week 14 on proof number 14 and he says examine Jesus' miracles he says if someone were to come to you today and say I am God what would you do? yes you would immediately ask for proof yes Lord prove it to me of course you would and you would not want goofy proof you would want real solid tangible proof

no normal person and I mean no one would accept anything less than rock solid proof from a person who claims to be God why should it be any different with Jesus Jesus was a man who claims to be God if he is God then he ought to be able to prove it in a real inimitable way if he cannot prove it then quite clearly he is not God a Christian would say Mike this is you right here but Jesus has proven it just look at all the miracles he did in the Bible he healed the sick he changed water into wine that proves Jesus is the Lord

why do I talk like Mr. Gower that doesn't sound at all like Mr. Gower yeah it does what are you doing there the capitals does it make sense to you imagine that someone today were to come up to you oh wait the other guy was talking imagine that someone were to come up to you today and say I am God and I will prove that I am God by healing the sick and turning water into wine what would you say be honest you would not believe this person because everyone has seen all sorts of faith healers who can heal the sick

and we all know that this sort of healing is quackery if it were true then we would not need doctors hospitals or prescription medicines two turning water into wine doesn't that sound like something that a B grade David Copperfield wannabe magician would do in a nightclub act there are a dozen ways that you could stage things to make it look like water is turning into wine there is no reason why a normal person would accept a magic trick as proof that someone is God number three neither of these miracles can be scientifically tested today not one of Jesus miracles

left any tangible evidence for scientists to study it is simple as that if someone claimed to be God today you would never italicized believe it if the evidence consisted of faith healing and magic tricks never yet billions of people claim that Jesus faith healing and magic tricks prove that he is God let's imagine that Jesus truly is God what might he have done to prove it he could have started by taking one of his most famous quotes from the Bible and acting on it this is where he talks about faith grain grain of a mustard seed

you will say to this mountain move from here and so he basically goes on to make the case that if Jesus were God he should have just moved Mount Sinai give it a move move ski from one to the other and that would have been solid proof and predict the future say to tell people about pie before they had discovered pie and then he said wouldn't that be the number pie yeah so he said wouldn't that be awesome and amazing if we had such a book and if Mount Sinai had actually moved

then there would be no questions about Jesus we would all believe that he is God how could we not imagine that what such a book would say on the following pages a book like that I am sure would leave all of us in awe why would Jesus not do that God supposedly has already written a book called the Bible and God supposedly has already done all sorts of things according to that book God supposedly part of the Red Sea carved the Ten Commandments into stone went to trouble to incarnate himself so why not have Jesus

write a book and leave behind real tangible evidence for all of us to see here is a summation for any normal rational person the reason is obvious God is imaginary we would not believe that anyone today is God without concrete proof Jesus doesn't get a pass because he lived 2000 years ago Jesus if he existed at all was a human being just like you and me all of the stories in the Bible are just that stories okay like he proved his own point

of how ridiculous he's being right like it doesn't matter what like let's say he did move Mount Sinai right like what proof would you have that happened you know like here's what he assumes would happen right when Jesus moves a mountain that it would leave skid marks or something where it used to be yeah and then he could go look today to see where the skid marks

are like taking out of the factor that there's been 2000 years worth of weather erosion and whatever right so so like when he says God parted the Red Sea you know it happened it happened this long ago right you're not going to prove it now anyway so apart from you know I was thinking about this I was thinking about how I was going to explain something like this to the youth group

right and I thought of this story and it has to do with if I walked up to somebody and we were talking and I said my grandpa took me to the circus when I was like five and I had a great time and they said oh he did do you have any pictures and I say no no I didn't take any pictures and they said well I don't believe it happened I'm like well I was there

I wrote down the incident I said I was there with my grandpa at the circus and they said well I mean do you have any proof that you were there I'm like I was there you know what I'm saying that's my personal experience I was there and then I thought about it for a couple weeks and I thought you know what my grandpa had four buddies who liked to

write down everything they had to do with my grandpa so I went I asked him to write a letter and the four of them wrote an account of my grandpa's life and in there is me going to the circus with him I go here you go here's four other people who were around him when it happened eyewitnesses right they saw it happen they said

yeah you know I just don't I don't I don't think that proves anything and I thought isn't this like a classic parallel example to the story of Jesus Christ right like the guy who wasn't there is telling the four gospels the four guys that were there that this didn't happen you know and the four of them got

together conjured up a story that said exactly the same thing and then put it together in an amalgamant to say here's this big lie that the four of us have come up with and by the way we were killed for because we were trying to perpetrate this big story of

a lie they martyred us you know and I thought why is the personal testimony of the bible not enough you know like because that because the same thing could happen to me I went to the circus when I was four with my grandpa and no

one believes me I don't have a picture I don't have a cotton candy that I saved from the time period you can't prove I can say the circus was in town that day I can prove that they say well there's no proof that you and your

grandpa went I'm running out I don't have anything else to say we can prove that Jesus was a man we can prove his lineage apart from the bible we can prove these things the temple existed the temple was destroyed all these things are well documented but when it comes down to the

brass tacks of four people who were there and wrote an account that's provable to be written within 60 years after it happened they go no way there's no possible way that happened right and like that just blows me away like how you could

take all the things into consideration of all the things that you can prove and the only thing you're arguing is you're arguing with the guys that were there and saying it didn't happen like that you know yeah this guy again is showing his arrogance

and saying well these people's testimony really doesn't mean anything even though they saw it they wrote about it even people who didn't believe in Jesus wrote about it and saw it and studied it the things that happened are documented they're well documented and he's just going yeah

that didn't happen yeah how could you just say that well the revolutionary war just never happened how do you say it well I just don't think it did right and what's the difference between the parting of the red sea and moving the mountain right like God did that God showed

his power and you've dismissed it well yeah everything that is purported to be real in the world is purported as such based upon the observation of a person who's reported it you know what I'm saying like even gravity is a reportable offense I see you see an apple

fall you go hey gravity did that you have to trust that I saw the apple fall and that it actually was falling and that I saw the world correctly right everything in the world that people are willing to believe is based upon someone else saying that that is the assumption that either I take in the world correctly and could describe what I saw in a way that you understand or that that has

happened to someone else like if I say me and so and so are in agreement I'm implicitly saying that that guy can see the world accurately and is not lying to me for us to be in agreement and so I mean that's true everywhere and he's just decided that these people saying the things that he doesn't agree with are wrong because he doesn't agree with them but like that basis of fallibility that he's putting on the writers of antiquity exists everywhere there's an underlying assumption

that people take in the world accurately and then report it accurately and observe it correctly when they discuss it well you know the second the second part of that I think he was trying to jive and write is like if if I were God I would totally go and prove it in this manner right but he never mentioned the raising of the dead part as one of the miracles that he thought were low brow you know like yeah like the water and the wine you know but it's not like Jesus went out and said hey check this

out I'll turn water into wine yeah like he put up a lighted neon sign the Jesus show is about to begin yeah but like like the one miracle he didn't reference which is considered to be the biggest one of all is him raising the dead on one two three occasions including himself you know saying and so like the the recorded miracle of him raising people from dead he didn't mention that at all like it never happened right and the that's the that's what shows the sovereignty of Christ altogether that he has power over life and death right whether he has power to turn water into wine or not it's pretty

cool but maybe not convincing you know I'm saying as a deity you know but like you know an all-knowing Jesus Christ who says I control death and life you know you got you sit in the driver's seat you know the guy in the back can turn water into wine with a little powder but you know when you control life and death you're sovereign you run this thing you created it you know it right and that one went without mention as it as if it had not occurred or the I mean the feeding of five thousand plus right that's five thousand is the count of likely the men so I mean five thousand plus people holding tangible bread that was

broken across two loaves and eating it you know saying like I mean yeah he just he ignored he ignored things that were more tangible than the two things that he brought up and that's that's several thousand witnesses you know there too yeah you know someone would have that I mean that that literature came out in the first century and thousands of people read this that would have said hey I was there that never happened yeah you know here's the thing is like and it goes I don't know if you if you're a logical thinker right and you want to break the Bible down into at least some some veracity some validity to it right think of the the how big this

conspiracy would have to be to pull this off right for for the story of Jesus Christ let's say the whole thing's fabricated right this would have to be a giant conspiracy to protect it as far as it's gotten pretty much untouched right even compared to the Dead Sea Scrolls right the the words that have been transcribed and and and and and throughout the generations like the New Testament and the Old Testament actually both have stayed pretty much the same not a whole lot of major differences translations here and there right there you're talking a conspiracy not only in the first hundred years that had to been rabid to back up the the four Gospels and then the letters from Paul and then and then the like all the surrounding events that no one

said look I was there at the fish feed that's not how it happened a truck came by which which is it would be compelling to the extent that a lot more people did not believe in Jesus than did it's not like they didn't have the opportunity to control the distribution of the information right let's always it's it's the the victors that write the history books except for in this case ultimately Christ will be the victor but in his time he was very much a minority a nuisance to some a minor to be dealt with with the you know to to a broad scale in Rome yeah and so so I mean it's not like they're the competing voices were squashed out by the dominant Christians of the time right it's it's not how it happened and look how many people died just for that fact right like I just can't imagine the motivation of a guy like like

John you know who would who would suffer through a boiling alive and then to be cast out as a prisoner on an island after you've been third degree burned to death and still proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ as a sham to what you don't see you can at 905 every night when no one's around you can go they all bought it you know like dude seriously I mean who would throw I mean all every single apostle was martyred every single one minus John but they tried to kill him you know it didn't happen and so I mean why would you could not only convince why would Christ die for a sham on top of the other 13 reported guys that were martyred for the cause of a big hairy joke like I mean I fall apart I fall off my principles you know at the slightest the hint of discomfort you know these guys are being threatened to be hung upside down and all they would have to do is renounce all they'd have to do is

say Jesus is not Lord that boiling all thing I feel like I mean that's rough yeah that's fierce rough and for what a big a big joke a big sham yeah and there's no way they could have gotten away with it you know no matter what side you are on politically if you remember back to John Kerry when he was running for president and he held these stories out of what a great hero he was there were people you know that was years ago and these people came forward and said hey I was there and it wasn't like that right you know I mean people who were there would have said no no right and so people look back in the day back in Jesus's time and say it's not the same as it was today and the truth is it's exactly the same as it was today information just doesn't travel as fast but it still travels you don't say it's not just because they lived a long time ago the people didn't tell stories and people didn't gossip and people didn't say I was here did you see

what happened here you don't say it still happened it just didn't it wasn't in China in five minutes like it is now but it'd be in China in 20 years and so to pull off to pull off a scam for what's going on 2000 years now since you know since Christ was alive that's one heck of a conspiracy like how many people have you suckered into this thing you know I can't believe they see it that way yeah it is week 14 I'm afraid I have to give this one to the Lord God wins again 14 or no you think that you think that you think that grandpa and circus stories got some legs yeah I think that's a good description yeah yeah yeah okay next week here we go oh good proof 15 is examine Jesus resurrection will do all right so that's that's next week hey thank you so much for listening to live from the path I appreciate you hanging out with secular versus Solomon and walking through these proofs with us we will see you next week we're gonna be hitting that proof number 15
