Segments
- Show open and GodIsImaginary proof 18 announced 0:10–2:36
A host opens the show from the Pathway Studios in Johnston, Iowa, noting that guest Rick Gray is in the room. He introduces the week's continuing series: proof number 18 from the GodIsImaginary.com '50 proofs' site, which begins 'imagine heaven.' He predicts the author's angle is that heaven is foolish.
- Double J in the studio: gigs and upcoming shows 2:37–6:10
Musical guest Double J joins the hosts in the studio. He runs through a busy week of shows: the House of Bricks in Des Moines the next night, Sheffield and Osceola the prior two days, and a return to the Unleash youth group in New Sharon where he grew up and mentored. The hosts praise his work at the Pathway Church fall kickoff.
- Double J's move to Minnesota for the music scene 6:11–12:36
Double J tells the story of moving from Des Moines to Minneapolis: God overturned his plans, opened doors on housing and work, and resolved a threatening verbal-agreement apartment dispute. He chose Minneapolis over Nashville or Atlanta for its independent Christian music scene and plans to enter the Club Three Degrees band tournament, whose final round is judged by the head of Tooth & Nail Records. The hosts note many Spirit Midwest Festival artists come out of Minneapolis.
- The Tank's nickname bit 12:36–14:09
The hosts banter over the nickname of an in-room regular called the Tank, formerly known as the Cheese Man and Statch. The discussion turns to his habit of wearing a tank top at shows before the show moves into the proof segment.
- Proof 18 read aloud: the Chris-and-Norm dialogue on heaven 14:09–20:26
The hosts read aloud the GodIsImaginary.com proof 18 argument, a hypothetical dialogue between 'Chris' (the Christian) and 'Norm' (the skeptic) satirizing the rapture as described in the Left Behind books: bodies dematerialized to heaven, naked except for clothes, jewelry, hearing aids, and artificial joints left behind. The author's commentary concludes heaven is imaginary because every person's description of it differs.
- Hosts rebut proof 18: Left Behind is not the Bible 20:26–29:44
The hosts argue the proof is specious: it attacks a fictional book rather than Scripture, since the word 'rapture' does not even appear in the Bible, and mixes Muslim and Mormon views of heaven with Christian ones. They note Revelation describes heaven with imagery precisely because it is beyond human comprehension, and that the glory of heaven is being with God, not meeting Benjamin Franklin. One host jokes about expecting Red Bull drinking fountains in heaven, and they close by saying a creator who made the heavens could manage the logistics of moving people there.
- Proof 19 preview and podcast plug 29:44–34:47
The hosts preview next week's proof 19, 'Notice that you ignore Jesus,' joking they might actually agree with it. They discuss the site's likely audience (people who already agree) and plug the YouTube channels and audio podcast, with a running gag about how the hour of audio will clog a listener's music shuffle and how one host once downloaded a hundred sermons on the book of Luke.
- Double J performs 'City Lights' 34:47–39:45
After a brief intro where Double J explains that 'City Lights' is his first song speaking to what he sees in society and is a conscious, in-your-face new direction, he performs the song live in the studio.
- Waking up Christians: the message behind City Lights and the Limitless EP 39:45–43:18
Discussing the song, Double J explains his new focus is 'waking people up,' especially Christians living in what he calls Christian atheism: believing in God but living as though He does not exist. He says he has been working on his singing voice since harsh critique at a Life Flight Missouri tournament and that the upcoming Limitless EP, hoped for January release, is about letting go of the past and limits to chase what one is capable of.
- 'Sinners saved by grace' is only half the story 43:18–47:12
A host shares an article about a man told by his father-in-law never to call himself 'just a sinner saved by grace' again, since that ignores that he was created to live through the fruits of the Spirit. The hosts agree that camping on unworthiness shackles believers to an existence they have escaped from, rather than living the Spirit-empowered life God intends.
- Chat handles and the Pathway fall kickoff 47:12–50:37
The hosts riff on chat handles, proposing 'Hubba Bubba Double J' for the guest, then praise Double J's performance at the Pathway Church fall kickoff picnic, where kids and parents were distracted by inflatables. They agree that as a performer he plays for an audience of one, giving God his all regardless of crowd size, and that listeners still hear even when they are not watching the stage.
- Fly-swatting banter 50:37–51:40
A host proudly reports killing fifteen flies that day with a swatter, sparking a comic debate about how long flies live. Later in the show a host corrects himself: according to Google and Wikipedia, a fly lives about a month, not three days.
- Dear LFTP: the boyfriend who lives in the bathroom 51:40–59:00
The Dear LFTP letter comes from a woman dating six years and living together a year whose boyfriend spends 45 minutes to two and a half hours a day in the bathroom with his computer, sometimes falling asleep there. The hosts advise that he is either sick or avoiding her, suggest honest conversation (and jokingly taking the bathroom door off), and urge her to get right with God and recognize the relationship is not in a holy position. The 'Secular' persona answers that he may be using the bathroom as a refuge from more togetherness than he can handle, and that she is not overreacting.
- Fly correction and show sign-off setup 59:01–1:00:05
The hosts correct the earlier fly-lifespan claim, agree they have had more sympathy for flies than necessary, then set up Double J's closing song 'Limitless,' which he dedicates to anyone held back by the chains of what the world says they cannot do.
- Double J performs 'Limitless' and show close 1:00:06–1:04:38
Double J performs 'Limitless,' the title song of his upcoming EP, about breaking the chains of worldly limits and becoming what God intends. The hosts close the show and sign off.

Live from the Pathway Studios in Johnston proper, you are live from the Path. Path, we're here at the, I don't know, notoriously comfortable Pathway Studios here in the bevy of Johnston, Iowa. I thank you for joining us. Rick Gray's got problems. That's not a general statement on your life. It's an interpretation of what's going on in the room. Hey, well, thanks for being with us tonight. I do appreciate you hanging out. We've got a good, very cool show for you tonight. First of all, we're continuing. I can't even keep track of the weeks anymore on this God is Imaginary guy. 18. We're on proof number 18 from GodisImaginary.com. We're working right through those. I know. He's got 50, and we're going to hit every one of them. So this week, proof number 18 that he says God is Imaginary starts out with, imagine heaven. Kind of like the anti-John Lennon thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
There you go. So anyway, we're going to tackle, I'm guessing he says heaven is foolish. There's a possibility. We'll get his angle on it. We'll see if we can come to a reconciliation that perhaps God is not a imaginary, and definitely does exist. And we'll see where we show up. Last week was kind of a bloodbath. He mailed it in. He said several he just mailed in. There were maybe two out of the ones we've done so far that you kind of had some thought behind. Like you go, okay, at least I can see where you're coming from. A lot of them have just been kind of… Yeah, so there. You take that. You're good, Jim. Like really? You put a website together over there? Okay.
Have you seen some of the other websites there are out there? Oh, no, that's true. They do let anybody have a website. Good point. We're running a totally fake internet radio show. It costs us eight bucks a year for the domain. LiveFromThePath.org, totally legitimate. Speaking of illegitimate. Oh, yeah. Thanks, man. I didn't say anything yet. I think it's assumed. He thinks he does prostatum. Oh, man. Somewhere there's a little Double J going, he didn't mean me. Double J's in the studio. Hi. Hey, brother. What's up? Thanks for swinging by.
I'm glad to. It's good to have a faux artist in here. Yeah. Faux's not good. That's F-A-U-X. Faux means fake. Oh. It was a gag. Don't do that to me. I wondered. You agreed pretty quickly. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's me. I thought you said fellow. I heard fellow, too. I've been that way for a while. I thought you said fellow, not faux. So, actually, we're very lucky to catch Double J. He's moved away.
I did. He's gone to another state. But he won't leave. And he sticks around. We can't miss you if you're not gone. Wow. After this week, you'll probably miss me. Okay. Well, fair enough. He was… So, you've seen Double J on the program before. He's been on here a few times. And has always come in and shared his music and done a great job. He was very gracious. He came by to Pathway Church. We had our fall kickoff a few weeks back. And he was very gracious with his time and came out and shared some music with us there. And it was great. It was outside. It was a lot of fun.
Yeah, a lot of fun. He did a great job. And then he's swinging and he's got a full week. So, you're coming off… You got a lot of stuff straight. You're at House of Bricks tomorrow, yeah? Yep. I'm at House of Bricks tomorrow night at 5.30 is the door. And 6 o'clock is when the show starts. So, yeah. There's two other artists that are local that are going to be there. Cass Lester is an acoustic player. And then New Life is another rap artist from Des Moines. So, it'll be interesting to… It'll be a very, very, you know, interesting and diverse crowd and, like, who's all coming. It's going to be a cool, cool night. So, what's the door? The door is two bucks. So… That's reasonable.
There's no excuse. That's a reasonable chunk of change right there. It's not too bad. Yeah, yeah. You can eat off that thing. Dan, we went to the House of Bricks to go see some… Oh, Send Him a Fire. Send Him a Fire to the House of Bricks. Right. And we had this big thing where we were going to show up and, like, help them load in. And then end up not paying, right? So that we could get in without paying. It was a great plan. It was fantastic. And we did. We were there for hours. Yeah, yeah. Dan was there, actually, early, hauling stuff in and out, loading up stuff. And then… So we got all that done and went out and got something to eat.
And sure enough, the guy that covers the door came rooting around looking for money. So we ended up having to pay to get in anyway. No, we're the roadies. Yeah. Yeah. That'll be $5. Pwn it up, Raggedy Indy. No, no. No, no. I already… Pick some onion rings. I already spin it all on fatty foods. Well, very, very cool. So what else? Are you just coming from something? You have more stuff later in the week. Well, this past couple of days, we were in Sheffield on Saturday. Me and another band, Triple Stitch, which my friend Nathaniel here is actually the drummer for them. We were in Sheffield on Saturday, played up there.
And then we were in Club 208 in Osceola last night. And then I'm here tonight. And then tomorrow I go to House of Bricks. And then Wednesday I'm at Unleash in New Sharon. And then after that, I'm pretty much done for the week. What is that, Unleash in New Sharon? It is a youth group out there. Oh, cool. And it's where I grew up. It's where I spent most of my time as a youth from my sophomore year in high school to graduation. And then I was a leader there for a few years after that. Is that where you were a doorman? A door and window man? It was not a doorman. No, but it's kind of home to me. Cool. So going back there, because I've never really done a show there. Yeah. I did my release party there last year, but I've never actually done a show for the kids that I help mentor. So it would be an opportunity for me to kind of come back and be like, you know, this is home.
So it kind of holds a special place to me to kind of go back there under these circumstances. So it will be nice. So tell me a little bit about, like, what was behind the decision to move? Because, I mean, you've been here your whole life, right? Yeah. So what says, hey, man, I'm heading out, I'm heading north, a little bit colder weather. Nobody moves to Minnesota. No. They move away from Minnesota. It's actually a crazy story, and it's a long, long, drawn-out story. I have hot cocoa and a free hour of broadcast time. Share with me. Well, okay. I mean, I was in Des Moines. I was pretty founded. I thought I would be here for a while. But, I mean, God has a way of, you know, being like, hot, these are your plans. That's funny. That's cute. But I have something a lot better for you.
And it kind of came down to that because there was a situation that we had, you know, with Nathaniel, and we ended up moving out of the house we were in into an apartment in DeSoto. That's middle of nowhere. Take a left. You'll find it. But we were there, and I'm like, all right, we can be here for a while. I mean, it'll be fine. And then all of a sudden, all the gears started moving way too fast. You know, Nathaniel was on his way out to Minnesota, and I prayed. I'm like, you know, God, I want to go there. I've always wanted to go to Minnesota. Minneapolis is like, Minneapolis. I'm sorry. That just sounds ridiculous. Well, I mean, there's a reason. I've always wanted to go to Minnesota. The reason is Minneapolis. Music scene is amazing. Minneapolis is a humongous music scene right now. Yeah.
It's huge. I mean, a lot of bands are exploding now. They're like, you know, Love Out Loud, Brought Light Parade, Shasta Boulevard, Triple Stitches from there, True Server, all them. They're Minneapolis. It's exploding right now. So I've always wanted to go there. I knew that from before I graduated high school that I would end up in Minneapolis at some point. Just didn't know when. So I had this plan. I was standing in Des Moines for a while and then working, raising some money, and God was like, no, you're going now. I was like, all right, open the doors up, and I'll go. And sure enough, door after door, housing, the job thing. I was like, oh, I need a job. And it was kind of late in my heart that I'm not going to get one, that this is now what my job is. And we ran into a roadblock with our apartment situation, which has kind of been the stress of me for the past couple weeks.
And Nathaniel knows what I'm talking about. We got to kind of be careful. We were under, I guess, a verbal agreement for a year, but that doesn't exist. So when we decided to move out, we hadn't signed anything. So we decided to move out. It was like, you were going to take you to court, see you for five grand. We're like, we don't have five dollars, and we don't have five grand. So I was just praying like crazy, like, God, make this work. And sure enough, everything went pretty smoothly, and we're up there safe and sound, and we haven't been sued yet. So I mean, God has done some crazy stuff, and it is because he moved things faster than I thought they would move. And it's just kind of God's way of laughing at us, being like, you know what? Your plans were cute. It was a good try, but you need to listen to me and what I want for you. And I'm like, all right, I'll do it. So I'm up there now, and I'm just praying that God keeps the ball rolling, which he will. So how do you bust into the scene there? You're like the new guy now.
Well, there's a thing up there called Club Three Degrees. It's a huge club in Minneapolis. And every year, they host a tournament. It's called the Club Three Degree Tournament. Clever. Yeah. Christian bands from all over the place will come to this thing, and they'll enter it. And there'll be three rounds, and every round, they'll weed out the artists. And then the final round will be judged by guys like the head of Tooth & Nail Records. And that's kind of what I'm going to be doing, hopefully jumping into that scene that way and kind of getting in there, like getting to know people. Even if I don't make it very far, I'll still have to get to meet a ton of people and be able to kind of connect and just start networking a little bit. Yeah, learn about certain people in the business and who is doing music up there and all that fun stuff. So I'm excited about it. I really am. I'm finally in my dream location. I'm where I want to be. I'm where I feel God wants me to be as well.
And I feel like for the first time in a long time, things are starting to kind of line up. As someone who lived in Minnesota for about a decade, have fun this winter. I've been hearing about winter. I've survived eight Minnesota winters, and I'm never doing that again. Two of you did not. One long weekend, every winter and summer. That's all the Minnesota I need. So we've actually interviewed a couple artists from Minnesota. We hooked up with True Serva. We talked to Tanya Hughes before the Spirit Midwest Festival a couple years back. Oh man, who's the guy? There was a gal too, wasn't there? Well, that was Tanya Hughes. And the guy that sings Hustler's Prayer. I love that guy. I can't believe I forgot him already. He's the guy that cuts his hair every week. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember him.
Yeah, yeah. So anyway. Sharp looking fella. So it would seem that that would vouch a lot of the folks that show up to the Music Spirit Midwest Festival, at least last year or two years ago, were coming out of Minneapolis. A lot of people. So why do you think Minnesota? I mean, are people more responsive there than, say, in Central Iowa? I'm not. We put on stuff here and a few people come. There's always been such a bigger music scene. And it's not even the major music scene. Like, the major music scene, obviously, is Nashville, Atlanta, that kind of stuff. Sure. But the independent scene of Minneapolis seems to be huge. Yeah. Like, I think, I mean, there's just a lot of independent artists that are up there. And they're just doing their thing up there. And that's what I hear most. That's the city I hear most of for being independent music.
It's because, like, you know, Nashville was kind of on my list. And Atlanta and that kind of stuff. I thought about maybe going there. But I didn't feel that was right. Because I felt like, you know, as an independent artist, I would get lost in kind of the shuffle. Because everyone in, like, Nashville is a musician. So I was thinking, like, you know, Minneapolis is up there. But it's not quite as up there as other cities. So I'm like, maybe I can, you know, have a better opportunity here. And I felt, you know, what I was hearing from God was lining up with that. And it ended up working out the way it showed up, though. I mean. Very cool. Yeah. I'm excited. So we're going to have to check back in with Double J in about, I don't know, six months. Sure. How fast is God moving, do you think? I don't know. I try not to question his speed.
Because last time it was, I was, I was, like, thinking too slow. So who knows. Okay. You've committed the Lord to a six-month time frame. I don't commit the Lord to nothing. I commit my life. And that's about as far as it goes. We're going to check in on you in about six months. We'll see how things are going. I'll be back down in January. So, yeah. Maybe in January. I'll swing by. How many months is that, Rick Ray? I'm not good with math. You're asking the artist for a number of questions. This is about four months away or so. Not quite six. You're listening to Life in the Path. We're hanging out with Double J.
We're also hanging out with the Tank. You can't see him because he's not in the pictures. But he's hanging out right there. There's the Tank. Yeah. Formerly known as the Cheese Man. Formerly known as Statch. I like Tank. I like the Tank. That's a cool name. I've never had a cool nickname. You know, I wear tank tops a lot, too. And I'm thinking about stealing Tank, actually. I think it's totally worth it. I've been tattooing a decade, and I never got a nickname. Dude, he wears a man tank at every show we've ever done. Is that true? Every show you've ever played, you had a tank top on? Every show he's played with me, he's dropped a man tank. Save it on Sunday.
I wore it. I'm embarrassing. With the tank top? No, no tank top. Oh, okay. He started playing with me, and we started wearing man tanks. It's like, all right, skinny jeans and man tank. We'll make it happen. That's what you draw right there. That guy says, you know what? I know what I can do here. Man tank. Boom. That's what can be done. All right. Well, very cool. I'll tell you what. Let's jump into this proof, and then we'll get the Goddess Manjury guy straightened out, and then we'll hear from Double J. We'll have you.
So which one are we going to do first? I think we'll do a song called City Lights. It's kind of my new favorite song to do, so we can do that. He set a high bar. So anticipate it. It's one of my favorite ones. Okay. All right. It's new, so that's probably why it's my favorite, but you can tell me how you feel about it after I'm done. Okay. All right. Oh, we will. Oh, yeah. Oh, well. I feel like I'm going to get some harsh criticism here soon. All right. Here we go. Week number 18, proof number 18 from GodIsImaginary.com. Here we go.
So you're going to have to sit with me. Bear with me through this hypothetical conversation that this man has created. Here's the introduction. If you talk to a Christian about heaven, you can clearly understand that the notion of heaven and everlasting life is imaginary. Each conversation will be different, but a typical conversation might go something like this. Rick, just see if you see a little bit of yourself in this conversation. Here we go. Oh, it's between Chris and Norm. Nice. Okay. I'll be Norm. Okay. Chris, Jesus transcends death and promises eternal life to all who believe in him. Lift up your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ, and he will give you eternal life. Norm says, how will he do that? Chris says, have you ever read the book called Left Behind? Norm says, no. Chris says, you should.
They have sold over 20 million copies of the book because it is the truth. It describes exactly what will happen. One day, the Lord Jesus calls his children home, and they are carried straight to heaven. Airplanes crash because their pilots have vanished. Cars run into phone poles. This is exactly what is described in the Bible. Norm says, the people completely vanish. Chris says, yes. All that is left behind is their clothes, their jewelry, and their hearing aids. The believers are transported directly to heaven. Norm says, their naked bodies are transported to heaven. Chris says, yes, exclamation point. Norm, there are six billion people on the planet. They each weigh about 150 pounds or so. Are you telling me that God lifts a trillion pounds of human flesh off the planet in an instant? Chris says, absolutely not. Only the believers are transported. Okay, half a trillion pounds? Yes. And where does this half a trillion pounds of flesh go?
To heaven. To heaven? Where is that? In another dimension, of course. God lives in heaven. How do all the bodies get up to this other dimension called heaven? Do they float up into the sky and then travel through the vacuum of space? No, silly. Chris says, they are dematerialized and then rematerialized in heaven. That's definitely in there. I've said that. Yeah. Norm says, where does Star Trek get their ideas? Come on. Beat me up, Scotty. Norm says, so you're saying that half a trillion pounds of naked human flesh are somehow dematerialized out of our universe and then they rematerialize in another dimension called heaven and the dematerializing process somehow distinguishes between natural human flesh and unnatural things like clothing and hearing aids. Yes, says Chris.
Norm says, so what if the person has artificial heart valves, a couple of stints, and two titanium hip joints? Are those ripped out of his body and left behind with the jewelry? Chris says, yes. Norm says, and what happens to that poor person whose heart collapses and whose legs are now flopping around, detached from his pelvis? Chris says, the book doesn't really talk about that. I imagine God would fix them up. Oh, man. This is a really long conversation, but I really like it. Here we go. Norm says, and what about all the people whose bodies are racked with cancer and AIDS and emphysema? And emphysema is a weird one to tack on the internet. Yeah. Chris says, God fixes them all up too. And what about all the decrepit 80-year-old bodies? God gives them new, young, beautiful bodies. And what about all the people whose bodies have died and decomposed? Chris says, God gives them young, new, beautiful bodies too.
Norm says, so why bother transporting the bodies of the bleeding? Why not just give everyone a new, young, beautiful body and leave their old bodies on earth? Chris says, the Bible says that your body is transported to heaven. It is right there in black and white and left behind books. That is God's will, exclamation point. Norm says, okay. So heaven is full of people whose bodies are corpses or whatever has been dematerialized from earth and then rematerialized in heaven. And then the dematerialized, rematerialized bodies are discarded and they are replaced with new, young, beautiful bodies. Chris says, yes. Now you understand the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Norm says, what happens next? The believers all live in heaven in peace, harmony and joy for eternity. What is heaven like? Asked Norm. Chris says, we get to reunite with all our dead friends and family members. We get to meet our ancestors for the first time. Norm says, really? Chris says, absolutely.
What about people like George Washington and Benjamin Franklin? Chris says, everyone is there. You can talk to anyone all through history. Plus, you get to meet God and Jesus. I can't wait to meet Jesus. Norm says, that sounds like fun. What else? Chris says, well, the streets are paved in gold. It says so in the Bible. And everyone has a big house. And you can eat whatever you want and not get fat. And really, you just do anything that makes you happy. Everyone is always happy. And so on. Here's his commentary. After listening to a conversation like this, it should be obvious to all of us. Heaven is imaginary. It is all completely imaginary. Simply talk to Christians about heaven. Ask them to describe what heaven is like and how they will get there.
You will be able to feel the absurdity of this notion in two different ways. A point A. There is direct absurdity, as in the dialogue above, where the creation of entirely new and completely imaginary dimensions and materialization processes tells you everything you need to know about how delusional things can get. Point B. There is also the absurdity that comes when you compare any two people's views of heaven. Everyone's fabrication of heaven is different. For some, it involves harps and clouds and halos. For others, it involves hot and cold running virgins. Cold running virgins? What is that? Running? Do they run? I think it's a play on water. You get virgins whenever you want. Hot and cold running virgins. Oh, I didn't get that. Well, I've not read the Left Behind books. It's in the appendices.
For some people, the actual body… Now I know why they're so popular. Full of hot and cold running virgins. For some people, the actual body is transported magically to heaven as described in the Left Behind books. For others, your soul floats out of the body and makes its way to St. Peter. And so on. People make up anything they like because heaven is a completely imaginary place. Heaven is a fairy tale invented by human imagination, and each person's fairy tale is different. We imagine that we have souls, fabricate the concept of eternal life, and then fantasize a place called heaven, complete with streets of gold, calorie-free foods, frolicking virgins… Now they frolic. And whatever else we can come up with. Christians imagine it so vividly and repeat the fantasy so often that they actually believe it to be reality. Last paragraph here. How bizarre can the fantasies get? Fly to Cairo and take a look at the Great Pyramid. There is the pyramid itself, still one of the largest man-made objects on Earth. In addition, there's this whole mummification process, the disassembled boats, the sacred
artwork, and so on. All of this was designed to help the pharaoh reach the afterlife. We look at it now, and we all know with absolute certainty that it was a complete and total waste of time. The Egyptian notion of the afterlife was a fantasy. The Christian notion of the afterlife is a fantasy in exactly the same way. Heaven is completely imaginary, Rick Gray, just like God. All right. The two… Okay, he keeps throwing in the Muslim virgin thing. I've really never heard a Christian say, I can't wait to get to heaven so I can have virgins. Yeah, that's true. And the only book he's citing is a fictional book. And, I mean, the word rapture doesn't even appear in the Bible. So, I mean, he's taking something that someone has already ran with and running way further. His whole argument is not based on anything biblical, or it's… It's fairly specious. Dan, what are your thoughts? Well, I agree. I was going to kind of point some of that out, too.
He's basing truth on himself. I do not believe in heaven, therefore it's imaginary, which has kind of been his way all along. He comes up with some wild idea and says, I don't agree with that, therefore, obviously it can't be true. And it's like, well, that's not really a basis for non-truth. And then his basis for what we say is truth, that he's mocking, is the Left Behind series. And if anyone… Hey, I love the Mock the Left Behind series. I think it's full of inaccuracies, and I as well believe it's imaginary. What Left Behind tells us. It's an interesting book to read. I mean, from… It's fun. Oh, look at that. If you're reading it as fiction. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. But, yeah. So, yeah, and he hasn't checked his facts. You mentioned the Muslim thing, Mormons also.
I mean, he's like mixing all these religions, world religions together and saying, see, therefore God is imaginary. He never says, here's what God says, happens. He does not acknowledge a soul, that there's something separate than our physical bodies that exists. He kind of mocks it toward the end. And, you know, anything that he can't see and grasp, he won't accept. And isn't that kind of half the point of the spiritual world, is we can't grasp it in the first place? We're not there. We can't see it. You know, I, by faith, know that someday it'll happen. I'll be with God. I'll see him face to face. The glory of God is… Or the glory of heaven is I get to be with God. Not that I get to see Ben Franklin. I don't know if he'll make it. He's wrong. Every single person won't be there.
Only those who are followers of Jesus Christ. Which is a pretty small amount. How many do you say, I don't know, half a billion? Half a trillion pounds. Yeah, half a trillion. Here's the thing. That has got to be the most ridiculous proposition to start off with. Right? Like, if there is a God in heaven, regardless of how many pounds you're talking about, I feel like he could take care of it. If he could create the heavens and the earth, he could probably move a little matter. Maybe. I would believe so. I can only take a couple thousand folks, because I just can't lift that many people up. Per day. I can barely lift my grandma. Obviously, God's imaginary. Oh, jeez. I mean, really? I put my quota on poundage.
I mean, if I live in heaven. I don't think the whole thing. The whole point is stupid. Like, he brings… The thing I had a problem with is he brought up, like, if you ask every Christian, their fantasy of heaven is different. Duh. It's not, like, in black and white. It tells you what heaven's like. It doesn't give, like, the specifics. It's like when you ask a little kid, like, oh, what's it going to be like when you're growing up? Every little kid's going to have a different perspective. Not every little kid's going to have the exact same idea of what it's going to be like. They have an idea, but they fill in the specific blanks themselves, like, with their imagination. That's kind of what we do. That's why I ask every Christian what heaven's like. Like, I think there's going to be a drinking fountains with Red Bull. That's just my interpretation.
That's what I think. That's what I want. I better try it. Yeah. I'd rather be a shock if I get there, and that's all there is. I would say, considering how many church functions revolve around really delicious food, I'm thinking an endless buffet of tastiness. Well, good for that. And, you know, God does talk about, you know, being at his table. The feast. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nice to get a good relationship. I mean, heaven rocks because God's there. Yeah. Well, and the thing about the Bible is when it describes heaven to physical beings, it's trying to describe something we can't comprehend. So it just, you know, you read through Revelation, and it gives these pictures as a snapshot. And the point is, it is so beautiful, it's beyond your imagination.
You tell a peasant that you're going to be in a place where the gold is so plentiful, it's like the streets are made out of it. You know, you're not going to, you know, how many ounces is that? What's that worth? I mean, you're not going to be, you don't need it for money. Yeah. I mean, is it gilded, or is it like pure gold? Yeah, we get caught up on the details, and that's not the point. The point is, it is just an incredible, amazing place. You think of the most fantastic thing possible, and it is like beyond that, it's over the top of that. And to sit there and say, well, therefore, it can't be true, you know, that's not the basis to say it's not true. Why doesn't he talk to, why didn't he bring up, he could bring up people who claim to have died and come back. Yeah. At least that could be almost scientific, but even then, how do you know what was the real experience? But, you know, he chose poorly, again, to try to disprove something. He just doesn't.
He made it very plain and obvious by putting his bent on, he just doesn't like God, therefore he's imaginary. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I've heard, so like, when you think about, when you think about heaven, as you have, it is a place that is not a, at this moment, is not a tangible place. All right. Outside of God's word, I can find, it's not like I can go check it out or see what it might be like, you are necessarily precluded from being able to take pictures and come back with them. You know what I'm saying? Like, there's just, so if you want to go from the premise that simply, I think heaven is a manager because I can't prove it and I refuse to believe the source, which tells me that it's real. Like, that's at least a foundation to say, I distrust who said it was there and I can't prove that it is, so that's where I'm at. You know, whatever, I don't believe that, but that at least is a place to start. But like, the God can only lift so many pounds, God is going to be confused as to how he deals with the titanium hip. Oh, I didn't see that one coming.
I had no idea. Oh, no. I talked about bringing people up to heaven and I didn't even bring this hip thing in. Quick, make a wheelchair. Close it down. This, yeah, it's somehow inconsistent with my character have to deal with artificial limbs and heart stents. What will I do? He at least makes a partially decent point when he brings up the Egyptian pyramids and all the effort that they, you know, and we go now, you know, thousands of years later and say, oh, they're still there. They didn't live. But his error there, though, is those were not believers in God. It was a false religion in the first place. So, guess what? They're not in heaven either. Right. Sorry. I mean, it just, if you follow the Bible, the word of God, those, you know, the best time they had was right up to when they got put in the pyramid.
So, you know, I, once again, I don't, I don't, I don't think he made a good argument at all. Not at all. Yeah. Not just because I disagree with him, but because he really didn't give any concrete. The context of that conversation is ludicrous. I mean, the, you know, even writing it out like, like this is, you know, it's like watching a, it's, it's like watching a commercial for, you know, a dishwashing soap and two housewives having a candid conversation about Don dishwashing detergent. You know, you're like, you watch this thing, you're like, uh, no one has ever had a conversation like that. Yeah. You know, I want to go all Truman show and be like, why are you talking like that? Who are you talking to? I don't get it. But yeah, I mean. I don't know. I mean, do you think it's, it's somebody probably talks like this. So there's probably somebody out there who like people who love the left behind series, which now I haven't seen people like that behind series. I mean, if, I mean, if you use that as your biblical alternative, like I try to read the
Bible, but it's really hard. And when I read stuff that's written by Tim LaHaye, then that makes sense. That's a, that's a lot easier religion for me to swallow. So I'm just going to go with that. I only trust guys with last names, you know, Tim LaHaye, Paul, he's out. Jesus Christ. There you go. Mr. The Baptist. I believe him. Peter, he's out. Moses, come on. What a diva. All of them. They're gone. Forget about it. All right. Well. Mr. The Baptist. Kaboom. So, yeah, it's not, not very, not very strong proof.
Not at all. Oh, oh. Sorry. I just, I like his, how heavy he finds himself to be. Like, when he goes, after listening to a conversation like this, it should be obvious to all of us. Heaven is imaginary, period. It is all completely imaginary. You know, he's typing and he's like, oh yeah. I just sold it. Did you see those stupid Christians in that conversation? They look so dumb. All their calories counting and they're cold virgins and that'll just teach them. Like, what a bummer. Oh, man. All right. So, that was Proof 18 from the guy at Godismanager.com. Let's see what he's got. We'll do a preview of next week. Oh, you know what? You know what, Dan?
I think I might agree with him on this one. Just by the title alone. Proof 19. Notice that you ignore Jesus. Oh. He might have me. He might actually have me on this one. And people in general. Okay. All right. Next week. Who's the target demographic for this? Anyone who's willing to read. Well, let's see. The color scheme of the website is black and yellow. So, I'm assuming it's for colorblind people. Because red-green would have been offensive. Yeah. It is – yeah, I don't know. I assume it's for people – it's got to be primarily for people that you would already agree with you, right?
Like, a guy is like, I think God is imaginary. Who can help me? Yeah. Yeah, heaven is bogus. Well, yeah. I mean, he's not doing a lot of conversion with the – I mean, with the logic and, yeah. Which, you know – The strength of his – This is going to come out wrong because when I say that, it's too bad. But, like, there are some very articulate people that believe completely different than I believe. And, frankly, the discussions that are had with guys like that, I learn more about God through those types of discussions. You know what I'm saying? Like, that guy isn't. But I do after seeing him kind of – the way that that worldview looks like and says there is no God. You're a fool. This is the explanation for the things that you're talking about. I get a lot out of those types of conversations because, ultimately, I know that God is not going to fail. Like, God will not be imaginary at the end of that conversation. So there's something – there's things to learn about either how people view the world or, like, what about the world in a way that God has interacted with it and how I can learn about that. But this is just kind of – you know, it's not really much of an effort.
It's not really – it's not a proof of any kind. Laser proof. God is definitely imaginary because I think he's limited by physical weight of rising people to heaven. I can't imagine him doing what he says he'll do. So, obviously, he's not healed. There's no way it can be accurate. I've never been able to do that, so he can't either. Which is always a really good argument against God. I'm not a good songwriter, so Lennon and McCartney were a lie. Exactly. They've never been good. Okay. So, anyway, it's proof – I'm excited for next week. I like to – I want to see this notice that you ignored Jesus, proof 19. This might be a solid one. So we'll catch up with him then. That was God's Magic.com. You listen to Live from the Path. We are here every Monday night from 10 to 11 p.m. here at livefromthepath.org. You can catch a story in the week by hitting our YouTube channels.
Now, check this out. Do you want to watch the full show? I got it for you. It's YouTube.com backslash thepathonline. If you want to see clips from the show, you say, I can't take the whole thing. They've been talking about Tim LaHaye and Mr. the Baptist, and some of it's just flat out dumb. Okay? So you just want to see clips. The best of the best, the select, then you're going to go to youtube.com backslash livefromthepath, and that's where we're going to put the cuts. One of those cuts will be the performances of the two J's, Mr. Double J. That's me. Okay, good. We were hoping it was. Otherwise, I would be really embarrassed. Oh, man. Oh, yeah. All right. Okay.
So anyway, you check that out at that path, or excuse me, that YouTube channel, youtube.com backslash livefromthepath. Also, sign up for the podcast. It's free audio, man. Don't get the video. It's going to take up a lot of space on your entertainment device, and instead take a long time to download. It's an hour's worth of junk you want on there, and you're going to have to clean it out every few months and think, like, I don't know why I subscribed for this in the first place. Then you're going to forget that you did it, and get another two months worth of crap, and then just regret the whole thing. So get the audio cast. Nobody wants that many regrets. That's what I'm saying. Nobody. Now, be careful with the audio stuff. I don't know how your digital entertainment device works, but if you can put it in a separate folder, it's the thing to do. Because if you're shuffling your tunes, and every third thing that comes up is the live from the path broadcast, see, you're going to take that out on me.
That's not my problem that you put all that stuff within your music shuffle. It doesn't make the show bad. You just do not monitor your music collection. Okay? So, like, put it in a separate folder. I made the mistake. There's a guy that did, I don't know, like a hundred sermons on Luke. And I thought, yeah, I'm going to listen to this book of these hundred sermons on Luke. Awesome. So I downloaded them all. And sure enough, I can't shuffle my tunes on my phone listening in the car on the way to work. I mean, every third… Or Lennon McCartney. All I have is Luke. Of course, then I always feel back. I always feel back when it comes up. It's like, I'm shuffling away from God? What does that mean about me? It's an odd moment to have someone go, I end the sermon from Luke 21, and you're like,
next. I'll pass. Give me some funky town. Lips Incorporated. Where's the Lips Incorporated? That's what I'm talking about. That's where it's at. All right, you're listening to Life from the Path. All right, Double J, let's do this thing. All right. Hold on a second. Let's get the… Tell me a little about this tune. All right. Okay, this song is called City Lights. It's an interesting direction for me, because I've been feeling recently, I've been doing a lot of stuff, you know, spiritual within me, like my experience is kind of wanting to relate with people. This song, City Lights, was the first song where I actually started to talk about things that were important to me.
Like, stuff going on that I see in society. I mean, all that kind of… I want to start getting real. Like, I kind of want to get away from, like, making people happy, but it's like, this is what I see going on, and this is what I think we should do about it. It's very conscious. It's very in-your-face. It's very conscious. It's kind of a… Somewhat of a new direction for where I'm going. So, it's kind of got an in-your-face attitude to it. So, lyrically. Well, I'm glad there's distance, because, like, I get nervous when people are close to my face. I'm sorry. All right. Well, cool. Let's check this out. City Lights. This is Double J. You're listening to Life in the Path.
And you… Oh, hold on a second. It was not the sound. Boy, that's embarrassing. That was nice. Oh, yeah, right? That is a new sound. Welcome to the City Lights. Welcome to the Masquerade. Welcome to the City Lights, yeah. You use a Ouija, boy, you do it. Opens a door to a plong-haunt in the spirits that we can ill afford. A metaphor, of course, relating all of us to the source. The problems within the city. Come on, let's take a tour. The sewer, your destination, home of the free. Because there's more than what you have seen and what they made you believe. Reconstruct your logic with knowledge that disagrees. And take a stand on the foundation. Let's date it, 9-17.
Take a look at the street, filling youth with high hopes. Street vendors and priests handing out condoms and cosmos. A reconstruction of your psyche made up by rivals. When we be through the foundation, engraved in the Bible. The body replaced with lust. The blood replaced with liquor. Take the food of the spirits. Completely added a picture where our writers, we fall. Okay, as we disfigure, our sins have no effect. Because our interpretation is scripture. Welcome to the city lights. Welcome to the masquerade. Welcome to the city lights. Welcome to a deadlands for charade. Welcome to the city lights. Welcome to where the dead bones lay. Welcome to the city lights. Welcome to the enslaved. Ripping off my sleeves. I'm ready to bear arms
Los Angeles City District To tiny Missouri farms Uprising of the peasants Malicious sounding alarms People just presenting purpose In time of unpending harm Now, now when you realize Who we are We break the barrier Now we're reaching up to the stars When God becomes the focus And we break them The bars of the jail cells And we start smashing up these guitars Cause the music it doesn't matter It's the heart and we're pursuing Let the world know it's about God With what we're doing It's time to understand Now when we stay clear
We're rebuilding our focus Oh, the one, the imaginary Now, yeah And everybody see through I can't even eat a chicken sandwich Without me getting food And now it's time to stand up To fight And start to reconstruct the city lights Welcome to the city lights And welcome to the masquerade Welcome to the city lights And welcome to a Deadlands for charade Welcome to the city lights And welcome to where the dead bones lay And welcome to the city lights And welcome to be enslaved Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah We ain't gonna take it Yeah, yeah, yeah
We ain't gonna take it And welcome to the city lights And welcome to the masquerade Or welcome to the city lights And welcome to a Deadlands for charade And welcome to the city lights And welcome to where the dead bones lay And welcome to the city lights And welcome to the enslave So yeah, I like that It's a little more in your face I think it suits you I think so I think that suits you Yeah, you know Some of it I kind of started rewriting Some little slips in there But a lot of it's just based on what I'm seeing right now As far as like Because my whole focus of the stuff I'm writing now
Is all about what I see Christians doing And what I see the world doing I mean, my focus is to reach the lost But I have a whole new focus of waking up people Right Christians especially Because I see a lot of Christians Christians who have gotten to this thing of like Oh yeah, I believe in God But I'm going to go live like he doesn't exist Right Like he's not there Like they It's kind of like Christian atheism almost It's like yeah, God's there But I don't care I'm going to go do what I want to do And it's whatever And that kind of I see that building
Like that kind of mentality Is gaining momentum And like from youth I've seen And what I've encountered And I've even been there And that's maybe why I had this focus This like drive It's almost a passion to wake people up And be like You know, there's a lot more to this Christian thing Than what you're saying It's more than just a claim It's there's a lifestyle That should follow suit behind it Yeah And that's kind of my driving focus at this point Is just kind of get in people's faces And be like This is what's going on And that's kind of why
I've been writing the way I've been writing lately Is just because I'm not really angry But I'm just like It's like frustrating Well, that's the outlet of some of the best art Is it's a reflection of what you're feeling Of where you're at I mean, there's a The market is saturated with people's art That is It is just trying to appease It's appeasing art, right? Like I want people to enjoy this And that's I mean, there's nothing wrong with an aim Of people having a good time But like You know, a lot of the art That people can really connect with Is because they can see themselves
As either A victim of it Or as part of it And something about that That speaks to them And people can really connect to that stuff And so You know, I think it's a very positive thing And there's nothing There's nothing wrong with having a reflection Of Of looking at a society And saying You know, something's Something's got to be different here Yeah You know And I don't know I liked it Like I said
I think that You wear it well You know, that That particular style And I think that Your passion about it came through I dig on that too I appreciate it Yeah It was kind of a step out too Because I sang My singing voice I've been working on it a lot And that's kind of One of the first songs Actually done Where I actually Used that Like that In a song
Ever So it was different It was different writing It was a lot of fun It was a whole new direction Because you know Like I think I said last time I was here Like Life Flight I don't know if I was here Between then and now Life Flight Missouri I did a tournament down there And I got critiqued Really, really hard On my voice especially So ever since then Like I got my The upcoming EP Limitless done
And I kind of started Going into this new style Of writing And kind of actually being Aware of how I'm writing How my voice is going Like how To go about all that So this is the first The first song I've written With that new mentality And with that new approach To music So Glad it went well Yeah I thought your voice Was very pretty All right I'll take it
Pretty is totally What you're shooting for I will take pretty I will I will take pretty So let's talk about Do you have Something that people Will be able to pick up Coming out relatively soon Right now the hope Is January Will be Limitless The EP That was the plan all along I'm trying to stick to that It's just a matter of Raising the funds for it Because you know Releasing an EP
Is pretty expensive So if I can Maintain The funds for that I can get that out By January So that's the plan Right now I want to have Posters I want to have The new EP And I want to have New shirts coming out For it The Limitless era Stuff Because the whole album Focus is being limitless Is letting go of what
The world wants to Hold you back with Like your past Your mistakes All that And the whole album I'll actually probably Do this song later I think It's just like About letting all that go And being able to Actually chase What you're capable of And not being held back By anything You know It's interesting that you said That this is something That I was thinking about
This week Because there was There's an article By a guy And he basically Tells a story Where he was talking To his I think it was His father-in-law And something had come up And he said Yeah we're just We're just sinners Saved by grace And the guy's like Don't let me ever hear You say that again And the guy's like What
What did I do What And he goes You are not just Sinners saved by grace I'm like If you have that I mean it's true But that's only half the story You're completely ignoring Not only were you saved But you were created To live a life Through the fruits of the spirit Through the provision Of the Holy Spirit To live a life That is You know That makes this earth
You know The closest to hell That you'll ever get And you know And just And thinking about that Where like I'm kind of a guy Like I'm way more likely To spend time Thinking about The saved by grace part It's like I'm junk The things I've done Are junk Things I did yesterday Were junk Today is pretty much junk I'm probably gonna do
Junk tomorrow And like And I totally recognize Thank God For his reckless You know Fierce grace And I spend a lot of time You know Being unworthy And being thankful For those two things But But to a certain extent That shackles me To To an existence That I've escaped from Instead of being able To live a life
That God has allowed me To move to Exactly And I think You make a mistake If you don't If you don't have The perspective Of the saved by grace But God doesn't want you To swim in that Don't Like That's not where He brought you out of there So that you wouldn't Be in it anymore Not just like You could be You know
Penitent And say God No I totally recognize That's where I came from And I recognize that He says Look I wanted you To be something more That's why I bothered Yeah And I'm even sending I'm even sending The Holy Spirit So that you can be more Something you're not even Capable of doing And And I think we live It's easy to live
A lot of life And really love God And still hang out In that In that bowl of stuff Because Because you have A ton to be thankful for I mean You totally recognize Where you came from And it's an accurate view To say I stink You know But it's But you're You're kind of just You're shackling yourself down Where God says
I just want you You can live differently You can live wholly You can set apart Even from the things That you've done You can live And being reminded Of that perspective I think it's important I think it's important Because like I said You can You can follow God With everything you have And still end up Not living the life That he wants you to live Simply because you're focused On your own behavior
As opposed to what God can do Yep So yeah Yeah I don't know It's weird It's weird you brought that up Because I've been thinking A lot about that this week Yep Even in my own life Just something that I see And say look Am I living the life That God wants me to live And I think a lot of it's because You know I'm not saying God Go ahead and just take me Wherever you want to take me As opposed to
You know God thank you for getting me Out of the mess That I created Which is a good perspective But it's not the whole thing Alright well very cool Dan are you going to wrap I think I am Are you on the chat As spanky I can neither confirm Nor deny Okay fair enough I don't know Double J Do you have a chat handle Like if you're going to chat Somewhere Do you go under something
Usually J4J4life Is usually pretty much What I usually go with I usually pretty much Change mine every time Or I'll do 2XJ One of the two I think those are both solid Yeah I'll do Hubba Bubba Double J Hubba Bubba Double J Is kind of my favorite Right now actually Hubba Bubba Double J I don't know That seems to fit With the sleeveless tank Yeah Get out It doesn't
Unless it was pink No no It's going to be It's going to be pink Alright you're listening Live from the path That's Double J You can look for that clip That will be on our YouTube channel Probably within the next 24 hours So you can check it out there Also any past clips We've got some complaints About some of his past clips On the YouTube So we've had some of the Singing on there Not as pretty
No no You don't want to hear it He's not Definitely check that stuff out He's done an awesome job Every time he's been in here So check that out And we'll send you out With one more Just as the show's Starting to close So you can check in with him You can also find more Information about him At going for the J4Jproject.com And you can look him up He's going to post gigs He's got gigs booked But they're not posted
And you know what You do an excellent job live He does do a very good job I mean not in the studio But out in We've seen you perform In multiple venues But when we had you At Pathway That's got to be The hardest thing in the world It's a tough spot Because it's like a picnic And there's like inflatables So the kids are like Yeah whatever And they're running At the inflatables And all the parents Are with them
And you would have thought There were 500,000 people there You put on the full thing And people were listening But they weren't necessarily Engaged looking at you That's the way I see it Like I had a conversation With somebody Who's like Wanted to do a show And he's like You realize And I'm coming from Minnesota And this is in Iowa He's like You realize that People are going to be Preoccupied You're just going to
Almost be background noise It's not even worth Coming down Like it is worth Coming down Any opportunity I get To speak to listening Because they'd be listening Just because they're not At the stage Doesn't mean they're not listening Yeah right And at the end of the day You're really performing For an audience of one So who is there Doesn't really matter Because it's about Giving God your all Not giving the people your all
Yeah Your people get the What's the word I'm looking for The effects of you giving your all They get that as a bonus Yeah But it's really about Just giving one person your all It's about giving God your all Regardless of how many people are there I mean I've done shows In front of five people I've done shows in front of You know 300 It's the same thing It's one person One person getting all the glory for it And getting your best And you know That's the way I look at it
It's the ministry of it all Yeah Yeah And I agree that it was Kind of a tough environment Like it's a You know we had them come in For that fall kickoff thing And you know There's a diversity of people there Diversity of age groups I mean you're walking into that thing And it's It's different if you set up a show And people know it's like a rap show And they're coming out for that Or it's like people are there Because we're serving food And talking to Jesus And we're getting chicken
What's this rap Yeah And so it was That isn't always a very easy place To walk into But very impressed And heard a lot of good things About the show in general And he did He brought it out there It was excellent It was excellent We're glad to have you out I appreciate that Thank you Alright well you're listening to Live from the Path And uh Oh shoot Sorry
I got distracted by something Hey I killed like I killed like 15 flies today Nice I mean I was awesome Jedi Super swatter Did you Have you ever heard that flies Only live like a couple days Why did someone I heard they're like three or something Three days See I always feel bad about smack I'm like the poor guy's gonna die in a day Oh see no I didn't You know like Like we went on vacation And there was We had let four or five flies
Into our house And we were gone for four days And we came back And it was There was literally 45 or 50 flies in our kitchen Oh that's just rude Yeah I spent an entire day Killing flies And I'm like Yeah I don't feel bad Cause any of them that escape They're gonna make 40 or 50 more So Yeah You can live Just not here If you leave now You'll be fine But they don't comprehend English
Nope nobody's leaving Okay You're all gonna die You know Oh man That got a little too crazy A little too fast Alright here we go Dear Live from the Path We'll see if we get one of these in My boyfriend and I Have been together for six years We finally moved in together A year ago Things have been going pretty well With the exception of An unusual habit of his That has become more evident Since living together He spends anywhere from
45 minutes To two and a half hours a day In the bathroom every day A couple of times He's even fallen asleep in there He takes his computer In the bathroom Because he claims He gets a lot of work done Some days I barely get to see him Because he works late And then spends the rest of the day You know where I have told him more than once How much it bothers me But he continues to do it It's driving a wedge between us Am I overreacting? Is he purposely trying
To put space between us? What? From tired of the toilet turmoil What? Nice I don't You know Advice For this woman? I don't even know Where to start Like Why do you have that problem? Oh man See From an outside perspective It would It would read like I'm going in here So she'll leave me alone
I mean This is the only house The only room in the house Where She's not going to come And bother me You know I Yeah I mean I would Anything that you're doing To Separate yourself From You know Your Girlfriend Or whatever That's
Probably indicative Of Well man I don't expect you to poop In the living room For social purposes But seriously Two and a half hours In the can Every day Yeah I mean That's It's You know If you don't have I don't know Prostate cancer or something Then there's It shouldn't take that long
That's what I'm saying Like either you're sick Or you're avoiding your wife Or your girlfriend Yeah Right Holy cats That's crazy What's your advice For this woman Take the door off I guess That's an idea Take the door off The bathroom Get his business done Do his work But he's still in the bathroom But the door is shut And all the doors are off
Get like a two way baby monitor So at least you can talk to him In there Yeah You can do Breaker 1-9 Breaker 1-9 How's it going in there Radio check Radio check With the invention of Skype Absolutely Why not If he's got it Yeah Why not Skype in the bathroom It's alright You know That's not the foundation Of a healthy relationship
Well it's better than What's going on right now No That's where I say This is never going to be Up to the level That I need it to be You're out Yeah I think you have to start With the foundation And say First of all You're not a Christ follower Get Jesus first First There's a city light thing Going on You're living with your boyfriend Dan heard half the song
Boom There it was You're eating chicken sandwiches And they're saying boo Yeah That's not Chick-fil-A Yeah Yeah Yeah We're not short But we got that one I thought that was KFC I want the recipe You know First of all Get yourself right with God Get yourself And so that the relationship Can be in a holy position A holy place
Secondly You need to understand Whoever this guy is He needs He doesn't Maybe She needs to back off A little bit Maybe he's He's obviously escaping her For some reason You know Maybe they should have The adult conversation To sit down and say Hey guess what I don't want to spend Every moment with you He needs a hobby Why doesn't he do a hobby
Maybe he has a hobby In the bathroom Well no That's the I mean The header called it You know Making the bathroom Is man cave And the bathroom Is a terrible man cave That's awful I have a man cave It's a whole room And I can paint in there Or whatever You know But you don't have to do Your own business in there No
That's the worst place And that's Yeah The bathroom It's very limiting I mean I Can just imagine What this guy Is thinking If like That's his best option You know Yeah yeah He needs Two and a half hours They do Do have Putt putt golf That does attach
To the toilet So you can putt putt golf In the bathroom So maybe he's just A new golf fan And he's just practicing That could be But I think they need To have a conversation When they sit down And say Here's the deal You're smothering me I need some space Or guess what You know I just need Certain time alone Whatever I just gotta have
My time And leave me alone And if They're not both Good with that Then just go Your separate ways You know I mean That's the end for me Like this is I would Whoever Whoever is the one Being assaulted Either because She's all over him Or because he's Ignoring her Either way
I think you gotta call it Yeah I'm ready to call it I'm ready to bail Here's So what Well So my advice Seems like a little Harsher than y'all's But I'm saying A guy that spends Two and a Here's the deal If I'm the lady A guy that spends Two and a half hours A day in the bathroom To avoid me Is a pansy
Yeah He's a real sissy man And he's not going To lead me well And I don't want Anything to do with him The chat says They should just use Ex-lax Then he's gonna be Back in there more often That sounds like a bad idea If I'm gonna wait I'm gonna wait outside That's not a comfortable chair Yeah This guy's He makes all kinds Of bad life decisions It's not ex-lax
He just needs to be there For ex Yeah Yeah Yeah That's what I'm talking about Nice Alright Abby says Dear Tired He may be using the bathroom As a refuge Who says it? No no Secular Yeah secular We gave our advice Yeah I know Okay Well I thought I heard
Some gal's name Oh no no no Sorry Just to clarify I don't know who we talk about This is Mike's responsibility He may be using the bathroom As a refuge For more togetherness Than he can handle Or he may be doing something On his computer That's more than work related Oh he might be in the bathroom Looking at dirties Yeah Did you think that? I did not I didn't think that Seculars got their mind
In the gutter Could be though Two and a half hours I do think there's more going on Than he's telling you I hope so I don't think it would take that long Just saying Moving on In order to get to the bottom of it You will have to convince him To open up and be honest And no I do not think That after having invested Six years in this relationship In this relationship You are overreacting She's not overreacting I would agree I would agree so
I think it's an issue Alright Well there you go So we're solving problems One bathroom You know Squatter at a time Boom Alright Alright Have the answers ever matched Secular answers Like once Sometimes close This was actually fairly close Yeah I suppose it wasn't Well her assessment Of the situation was She wasn't chucking him I wanted him chucked
Yeah I said it's over Well yeah I kind of figured It depends on how The conversation goes But right now They're not having A conversation about it They need to talk Yeah and he's totally Ducking her Yeah Hey you know what would be funny If you were writing Dear Life and the Path About the problem Hey I spend a lot of time In the bathroom And my live in girlfriend Keeps harassing me
What do y'all think I was When I always do a typer He's always doing creepy fingers It's not It's not like a normal guy It's like What do I do It's the World Wide Web I can do mini golf Playing like an organ In a 40's horror movie Alright I tell you what Let's send you out With some more stuff With Double J You've been listening To Live from the Path Thanks so much

They're held back By the chains And they don't feel Like they're doing Anything for lives You can be living this Remember when I was bound By my limits Some called it The real world I called it prison They dreaming About the granting Of the wishes I've been wishing They said I was a fool I didn't listen I kept spitting By finally waking up
On the day When the words I wrote Would impact people In such a way That their dreams Won't be touched By anything people say Just moving up Or force the dreams God instilled in their brain On the day When realists Finally become the dreamers When God people Become the control Instead of receivers When his people Become the dream In real life Instead of letting
The world direct us Make us think twice Sick of the world Putting shackles On what's planned Was told I would fail Over and over again With a thousand reasons Why I would never succeed But I have one To push on That don't set me free Open your mind Open your soul Open your day Open your world It's the time for me To stand up And let them understand That Christ is enough
Open your heart Open your mind Open your world To the great divine And I will not Will not Ever And I will be limitless And I welcome to the prism Inside of your mind I'm your guide As you walk In a single file line With other inmates Who are just like you Had dreams to do Things much similar to you But induced With the world's influence They call the truth
That success is fine And doing what They all do That being a believer Is made for To make believe That only a fool Would break the scatter Sport or just achieve Of this lie That's been built About the human hands You hands Built this prison The blueprint is in your head All the thoughts People use That they use To condemn The plan
Got imprinted On your DNA strands Not smart Too weak Too young Or too old Unable to stand up You just aren't quite that bold Their words are a plague Of fatality Looking to finish Mortal Kombat Means nothing When you break spiritual limits Let's go Open your mind Open your soul Open your day Open your world It's the time for me
To stand up And let them understand That Christ is enough Open your heart Open your mind Open your world To the great divine And I will not I will not Ever back down And I will be limitless You're fooled by the world It's time to stop by And set ablaze To this place And see new horizons Deep the crowded silver lining Of the sky Of your mind The place you wanna go
The place your dreams Sly Understand you can Break up the chains Holding you down Easy to reach The stars When your feet are Off the ground Don't look down Don't look back Keep reaching to the heavens When you fully trust in God All the dots begin Connecting its perfection As you gaze upon The ashes of where you were Watch the limits Of the world Scorch
Bust and burn Your turn to break free Raise your hands At what you've done And finally dream For what one day You will become Finally become What God intended you to be Reach the stars Break the ceiling Rise up Just with me Understand It's your time to get with this You can truly For the first time Be limitless Let's go Open your mind
Open your soul Open your day Open your world It's the time for me To stand up And let them understand That Christ is enough Open your heart Open your mind Open your world To the great divine And I will not I will not Ever back down And I will be limitless Tonight Open your mind Open your soul Open your day Open your world
It's the time for me To stand up And let them understand That Christ is enough Open your heart Open your mind Open your world To the great divine And I will not I will not Ever back down And I will be limitless Tonight Thanks for listening Live from the Path We're going to send you out We'll catch you next week Thanks for listening Charming beats Thanks for listening
