Segments

  • Produced intro, tooth-brushing song, and complaint-line gag 0:00–0:45
The produced show opener plays, followed by a novelty song about not wanting to brush your teeth. A host then jokes that complaints about the song should be directed to Chris Roloff and reads a station identification for The Truth Network 99.3.
  • Show open and cold-weather homelessness reflection 1:08–2:45
Ben opens the show from the Pathway studios, noting the cold, dark night. He reflects on walking to the new grocery store in Bondurant with his kids on the first cold night of the season, and how involvement with the Thankful Leper has made him conscious that he gets to go home warm while others do not.
  • Roundup recap: supplies, stories, and the 'blessed man' 2:45–5:20
The host the others call 'Buva' recaps Sunday's homeless roundup: a ticket system for supplies, sleeping bags, tents, flashlights, and about 45 hygiene backpacks for men, plus a TV crew from WHO filming the event. Ben adds two stories from the day: a stranger snagging a bag of dry pinto beans, and a man who lost his new pants but shrugged it off, saying he had gotten a new tent and is 'a blessed man.'
  • Next roundup and winter supply drive logistics 5:21–7:51
The next roundup is set for Sunday, October 26 at 2 PM at the Papa John Sculpture Park downtown. The hosts explain the Thankful Leper's winter needs – tents, sleeping bags, socks, batteries, flashlights, coats, hats, gloves, thermals – and the ways to help: an Amazon wishlist linked on Facebook and Twitter, drop-offs at 99.3 in Boone or 3 Merle Hay Road in Johnston, or emailing [email protected].
  • Tonight's agenda: article week five, news, Dear LFTP, guests 7:51–8:49
Ben lays out the show: week five of the 'What leaving my religion did for me' article series, Dan's three news stories, a look at '67 surprising things not found in the Bible,' Dear LFTP advice, and in-studio guests Bob and John of the Eisenhower team.
  • Guests: Bob and John of the Eisenhower team 8:50–14:19
Bob Eisenlauer, a longtime show sponsor and realtor, and his brother John join the studio. John describes getting into the family's marketing business after working for them; they trade notes on working with family (their mom works with them too), and Bob says it is a buyer's market since interest rates just dropped again and inventory is building. The hosts roast 'Buva,' who just signed a rental agreement instead of buying, and he volunteers his face for 'don't be Buva' ads.
  • Article series recap and reason #5 read aloud 14:20–16:26
Ben recaps reasons one through four of the 'What leaving my religion did for me' article (peace of mind, a rediscovered love of learning, accepting people he once judged, less self-judgment) and notes Mike is absent tonight. He reads reason #5 – 'I give credit where credit is due both to others and to myself' – including the author's claims that his evangelical upbringing taught him self-loathing and discouraged acknowledging his own positive qualities.
  • Pushback: false humility is not what Scripture teaches 16:27–20:38
The hosts react to reason #5. Dan calls it 'false humility,' arguing Scripture never commands self-loathing. Bob wonders whether the author is describing a world anyone actually lives in, and the hosts land on a both-and: thank God and thank the surgeon too. Ben paraphrases C. S. Lewis's cathedral illustration – true humility is calling a beautiful building beautiful whether you built it or not.
  • A right view of self-worth: created for good work 20:39–29:15
The discussion continues toward a positive picture: human worth is inherent because people are made in God's image, not derived from others' approval. 'Buva' argues Christians are not called to self-loathing, since God works through people and both God and the person can be thanked. Ben tells a workplace story – colleagues once asked 'Ben, who is the best resource we have for this?' and he answered 'me' – as an illustration of owning competence without ego, concluding that refusing good work in the name of humility cheats God and his people.
  • Hibachi buffet comedy bit 29:15–32:13
The hosts banter about the area's largest buffet, Hibachi, after 'Buva' judged it with fellow self-described avid buffet goers (7 out of 10, with a pho bar and tubs of ice cream). Ben admits he sent an Outlook calendar invite titled 'hibachi bro date' weeks in advance, and they try to rope John and Eric into coming along.
  • News: the 113-year-old on Facebook and when Christians may deceive 32:13–39:09
Dan presents a news story about Anna, 113, who had to shave 15 years off her age because Facebook caps new accounts at 99, and poses the quiz: when is it OK for a Christ follower to not be truthful – never, to protect someone from physical or mental harm, or truth is relative? The hosts debate Rahab's lie (Joshua 2), whether Rahab was a believer, deception as an element of warfare, and the Anne Frank example, landing on intent: tell the truth as the default, with real exceptions only for life-or-death situations like hiding Jews in the Holocaust.
  • News: Alabama pastor scandal and the church's way forward 39:10–45:44
Dan reports that Alabama pastor Juan Demetrius McFarlane of Shiloh was removed after revealing he had full-blown AIDS since 2008 while continuing to sleep with church members, use drugs, and mishandle church finances. The quiz asks how the church should move forward: sue, let him go, or negotiate reconciliation through the elders. The hosts agree he must be removed from all standing and spoken to as an unbeliever – loved, but needing to start over – while one host frames him as a convert who was never discipled.
  • News: $100 tip for terrible service 45:45–51:54
Dan tells of a Cedar Rapids, Iowa couple who, after waiting 20 minutes for water, 40 minutes for an appetizer, and an hour for entrees on their anniversary, responded by leaving a $100 tip with a 'paying it forward' note; the receipt photo went viral. The hosts unanimously pick the generous option, confess Christians' reputation as the worst tippers, and riff on how people treat waitstaff as a character tell.
  • Sponsor reads and radio sign-off 51:55–55:49
Ben thanks sponsors Westfield Veterinary Hospital (westfieldvethospital.com) and the Eisenhower team – John reads his and Bob's phone numbers on air – and signs off the KTIA radio audience while the podcast continues.
  • Post-radio banter: Rhett Walker Band and license-plate jokes 56:16–58:39
Back podcast-only after a fumbled music transition, Ben plugs the Rhett Walker Band's new CD 'Here's to the Ones' (out tomorrow, featuring the song 'Tattoos and Cigarettes') after seeing them in concert in Norwalk. The room then riffs on John's coveted '770' number and license-plate vanity ideas.
  • '67 surprising things not found in the Bible' lightning round 58:41–1:05:22
Ben works through a list of things the Bible supposedly doesn't teach: Jesus as the reason for the Christmas season (his birth date is unknown), halos (Moses' glowing face is the closest parallel), an apple in Eden (just 'fruit' – maybe a durian, jokes one host), the word 'discipleship,' a clear doctrine of original sin or total depravity, a singular apocalyptic Antichrist (the term is in 1 John, not Revelation), Mary's perpetual virginity, and overwhelming proof Jesus was poor. A long durian tangent ensues, including a plan to eBay one in for the studio.
  • Dear LFTP: the canceled lunch date 1:05:23–1:10:47
Ben reads a listener letter from a man dating a woman for about a month who canceled lunch; she apologized twice by text, but he wonders if it shows lack of caring or integrity. The hosts roast his 'protocol' for canceled dates and advise grace: accept the apology and ask how to make her stressful week easier. Dan's suggested gesture – a Friday spa appointment, then a movie at home – gets called 'adorable.' The 'secular' answer calls him an insecure over-analyzer courting rejection where none exists.
  • Dear LFTP: the immodestly dressed 40-something daughter 1:10:52–1:17:23
A listener's letter: her wonderful daughter, in her forties, dresses immodestly, and the mom draws over cleavage with magic markers in family photos before displaying them. The hosts agree the mother is best positioned for an honest conversation – or a peer could do it – and debate mom-versus-friend delivery. The 'secular' answer advises giving up on the wardrobe battle: keep the magic marker and pray for colder weather.
  • Wrap-up: hibachi plans, links, and thanks 1:17:25–1:18:31
Ben closes with reminders: the hibachi outing, a Thankful Leper link, and the article link to post on Facebook and Twitter. He cites Hebrews 11:31 for the Rahab point, thanks guests John and Bob Eisenlauer, and signs off.

Live from the path presents, I don't wanna brush my teeth. Two, three, four. I don't wanna I don't wanna wanna brush my teeth. I don't wanna I don't wanna wanna brush my teeth. I don't wanna I don't wanna wanna brush my teeth. I'll take on the adventure, and I'll swap them out for dentures. Hey. Brush my teeth.

Live from the Path, no way condones not brushing your teeth. But if you have any complaints about this song, please direct them to Chris Roloff at 993 That's Chris Roloff. (515) 230-4481. The Truth Network ninety nine point And

you're listening to live from the path. It'll be from the Pathway Studios here in Justin Proper. It's good to have you here on this, I don't know, whatever type of evening it is. I don't know why I feel like I have to have a commentary on the weather. It's good to be here. I feel people say that kind of stuff. Dark and stormy night. Oh, yeah. Shoot. This is a pretty horrible night to be homeless. No. No. Agreed. It is a rough night to be homeless. Actually, you know what? My kids and I, we we, we walked we walked to the grocery store. We just got a grocery store in Bonnerent. And,

it's only like a couple blocks away, and, we just wanted to go out for a walk. And so we started heading to the grocery store, and it was the first night where it's like really cold. It start started to get cold and the weather started to turn. And it's weird how how often things like that don't occur to you. And then, for for having some of the involvement that we've had with the stuff going on with the Thankful Leper as I was as walking down there, I'm like, I mean I get to leave. I get to leave this. Right? I'm home in four minutes. Mhmm. And I'm not cold anymore.

And I have more coats at home and I have more socks at home and I can take a hot shower if I want to. And, it's, it's just that I've been reminded of lately kind of with, with some of the thankful leper stuff. So, yeah. It's it's it's the weather becomes a good reminder that that, not everybody lives the way you live. Right. Yeah. Yeah. So, anyway, Buva, how was that? How was the the the roundup on Sunday? Oh, the roundup was incredible. We had,

quite a few people show up. It was pretty organized actually. It was it was awesome because we had a, no. I mean that And it wasn't to complete disaster. It wasn't to complete disaster and people didn't like fighting. No. It was actually really cool to see the that we had a tick ticket system for people who were living in the shelters and people who are living in homes and things like that. And then people who were living in, like camps and things like that, we were able to, divvy up all the supplies we had. We gave out quite a few sleeping bags. We gave out quite a few tents, flashlights, batteries, and then, of course, we, fed quite a few people, giving people bananas.

We had about 40 supplies, and then one of the bigger things we had was we had a bunch of backpacks that were filled with hygiene supplies for men. Yeah. And we got a chance to hand out about 45 of those on Sunday, and that was an amazing thing. So big, big, big turnout. We actually had WHO show up also and do a little bit of an interview and show up, videoing what was going on. So Competiting media, Yeah. Did they not know that live from the past was Obviously not. You must not have had your badge. I didn't. I apologize. It's my fault. You know, so, a couple things. I I was, I was there, and, someone had brought, like, a box of food. And

someone brought, like, pinto beans, but, like, not not canned pinto beans, like, you know, the stuff you buy in the sack. And I thought Oh, you gotta stop them. I gotta see who takes these. Like, it's an interesting cat who picks up some pinto beans, and I missed it. I turned my head. I was talking to somebody, and I turned back, and somebody snagged the beans, taking peanut butter. I thought, yeah. Yeah. Okay. I get it. Elbow macaroni. All these things made sense to me. But the pinto beans, this was I just I wanted to see who took it, and I missed it. I missed it. I was pretty disappointed. Second cool story of the day. So there was, there was a guy who who came back the the the round. Everyone had kind of dispersed, and he comes back and he said, hey, man. Has anybody turned in some pants? And I looked at his legs because I thought, I mean, it's getting up in the real straights here. But no, he had pants on. But he said, you know, I I'd gotten a new shirt and and some some a new pair of pants,

and, I I dropped both of them. And the shirt he came back, and the shirt was there, but the pants were gone. I looked around, you know, I'm sure they were gone. Someone pitched suddenly picked them up and made off of them. And I said, man, I'm sorry. You know, I haven't seen him around. He looked at me in the eyes, and he said he said, you know what? I got a new tent today. It's all good. I'm a blessed man. Thanks, guys. I'll see you later. And he just left. That's awesome. To that, and I got plenty of pants. Yeah. And and it was it was it was very cool, especially the some of the guys that are camping. Just they tend to react that way. You know, they're very they're very grateful for what they have and, like, his his attitude towards that was just for as little as that guy had. He's like, you know what? I'm a blessed man. Whoever got those pants got those pants. I'll see you guys later. Thanks a lot. I'm just like, it was just it was a cool experience. So, that's coming up. When's the next one, Bubba? So the next one will be on ten twenty six Sunday at the Papa John sculpture tar Sculpture Park downtown,

and that'll be at 2PM. Okay. Cool. So and preparing for this, a couple things if you guys could help out. And if you if you haven't heard about this on the prior shows, we're working with, the thankful leper. It's an organization that is, Bobby was Bobby Deppard was in here. He he part of that. He is a formerly homeless guy who's who basically spends his life trying to help other guys that have been his position here, but physical care. And so he, the weather's starting to turn. He wants to hand out tents and sleeping bags and socks and stuff. They need batteries, flashlights.

What am I missing, guys? That's most of it. Right? Coat still need good coats. I saw a lot of hats and stuff go, a lot of gloves. Coats, hats, gloves Yeah. Long john underwear, just all kinds of thermal stuff that's gonna keep them warm during the winter months. Yep. So anything you can think of, you would probably want if you were camping out in the middle of the winter. That's probably a good idea that you wanna bring it. Yep. So you got a couple options here. He's got a list, a wish list on Amazon. I'll post that out on our Facebook page and Twitter stuff. So if you can if you wanna hit hit us up and follow that, you can order those things and have them delivered straight to them. If you got them to give, there's plenty of places that can take it. You can drop them off at the the the station, at 99.3 in Boone if you want. You could he doesn't know. I I'm tell I'm doing that, but, go ahead and dump your stuff off there. 3 Merlehay Road in Johnston.

Or if you wanna shoot us an email info live from the path dot org, we'll figure out a way to get it from you. We'll we'll tell you where you can get it. You can you can take it to Bobby's house, but, like, we'll hook you up with the place to to to drop it off. Or frankly, the best option is to come down to the roundup. Like I said, it's 02:00. It's the Papa John Sculpture Park on 1026. Yeah? Yes. Okay. Cool. And not only can you can you help some guys out, but you can talk to them. Like, you can you can meet them face to face. It's it's been a blessing to us as a show, if I can say that if I can speak for everybody, to be part of that and be able to help people in that way. And, you know, it's it's it's not selfish to be able to have that be a blessing for you. God has provided that even as part of your community to help serve other folks in that. So, you know, jump on board with that. We'd love to meet you. We'd love to have you guys kind of be part of that. And so so I'd encourage you.

Those things are good options. The best one is the kudos and email info life from the path dot org. We'd love to be able to answer those. Alright. Cool. So here's what got going on the show tonight. So we're in week five of the guy that, left his religion, and, and the title of his article was what leaving my religion, did for me. And, you can find this on time online if you wanna get ahold of it, And we'll be on number five, so we'll talk through that. Dan's got some stuff going on in the news. Dan, give us a quick preview of what's happening. Alright. We got three things. A woman lies about her age to join Facebook. We'll talk about an Alabama pastor who has AIDS and takes drugs and has been misappropriately handling the funds and sleeping with the church members. Yikes. Yeah. Pretty bad dude. And then there's a couple that leaves a $100 tip for some very bad service at a restaurant. Alright. Alright. That seems alright. So we're gonna talk through that, see what the appropriate, reaction is to what's happened in the world.

Also, I saw an article, about 67 something some things I think that we've talked about, but, it may maybe reorients our hills to die on, things that we wanna fight for that, I don't know. It appears that perhaps scripture is not fighting for. And so, we'll hit some of those. Some are a little bit iffy, but, anyway, it's a long list. We'll we'll do some of those. We also got some, advice on dear life in the path. Also, we got some, special guests here in the studio. You hear us talk about them every week, and that's, that's the Eisenhower team. And, we've had Bob in here numerous, numerous times, but, both Bob and his brother John are, in the studio with us tonight. And, fellas, how's it, how's it going? It's going great. Thanks for having us on the show. You bet. So here's the deal is I, we we love having Bob in. Bob is, first of all, always been a gracious partner with, with Life in the Path, and, I just I just like dealing with you guys personally. We've had had some

it's, I don't know. We we've when it comes to having sponsors on the show, like, there's a lot of guys who need the money. We don't really we don't really have to have the money. We can we can just, you know, not do some of the stuff we do. But, we have people part of what we do, who we believe in. Right? And, and anyway, we've had some great experience with these guys, and so it's always a it's always a pleasure to have them on and to be part of, what's going on in Life From The Past. So Yeah. Big thanks, guys, fellas. And I hope, every every once in a while, I tell people to kinda give you a call at unnatural hours just to say thanks for sponsoring Life From The Past. So if that happens, like, I gave them permission. Good. Okay. Good. Usually, Monday night about midnight or so, I guess. Perfect. Okay. Good. That's exactly what we're after. So so they're with the Eisenhower team. You can find more about those fellows by going the eisenhowerteam.com. And I don't know. Just just real quick, maybe tell us a little bit about so what what got what got you guys into the for marketing. And after

about two years of that, I saw Bob, my dad working. So Yeah. Wanted to learn from them mostly. Just kinda get an education firsthand marketing. Right. Right. So so is is it something where the seeds were kind of planted, with with dad in the business and you thought, hey, man. Yeah. Seems like something to jump on board with. Right. There it is. All laid out. So Sweet. Something I could jump into. Yeah. So what's it what's it like what's it like working with family? Because it depends on who you ask. Right? Someone's like stressful. Yeah. I mean Bob, do you do you share that sentiment? I thought it was a piece of cake.

It's I I don't know. It kinda depends on who you ask and probably what time. Sometimes it's, it's got the the greatest thing in the world and sometimes like, man, shoot. It's a little tough when you're around him all the time. Uh-huh. Then it's your family, so it's fun. Oh, cool. Yeah, it's an interesting dynamic. You gotta be brothers and know, father son. My mom works with us too so we've got that dynamic where you know, as soon as we're out of the office, it's back to

father son, mother son, family relationship but in the office, we try to be as professional and courteous as we can in a business sense. Yeah, right. Cool. So, hey. How are things going in the so so generally, week, I say, you know, I don't know if it's a good good time to buy or sell a home. You should call call Bob for that kind of stuff. Like, we're bunch of talking heads on the radio. What do I know about it? So what else what else Bob and John say about that? Good time? Yeah. Bad time? It is good time to buy. I mean, we're realtors. We're salespeople. Still

low. Everybody's scared they're gonna go up, but they just dropped again this last week. So if you're a buyer and you're getting approved for 4% interest, maybe even lower, you know, that says it's a good time to buy. So and the inventory is starting to build up a little bit more Yeah. Which means, you know, you're calling the shots as a buyer right now at this at this moment in the market. So We keep trying to get Buva to buy a house, and he refuses to do it. Really? What's the holdup? Hey, man. I never said, woah. Woah. Wait a minute. Don't throw me in the real estate, like, straights for this. Okay? So alright. Fine. That's the situation. Yes. I,

I don't know what to do, and I haven't had a chance to call you guys yet. Yeah. That's alright. This is, it's outrageous, Buva. It is outrageous. I I recently just took on a a renting agreement, so I'll call you guys in about eight months. Yeah. Awesome. Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry. Do this. Had not had a chance. I messed up and did not go to the eisenhowerteam.com, and I did not call the Eisenhower team. So I messed up on that. Don't do that. Apparently, interest rates are low and inventory is high. It's a buyer's market. Call these guys. Here's what I'm hearing you say. Hey. I made a long term mistake. I'll call you after. Yeah. That's exactly what it just Yeah. I I wasn't trying to candy coat that at all. I did make a long term mistake, and I'll call you after. It's like saying, hey. I married the wrong woman. Soon as this shakes back out. Hey. I recently entered a thirty year agreement. I'll call you a thirty one.

Alright. You're a good example of what not to do. Exactly. I'm more than happy to have people live vicariously through me and look things. Booba's image for any of your advertising. Yeah. Exactly. Throw my face. This man. Yeah. Throw my face on there with a big cancel sign, like, don't be booba kinda deal. I'm okay with that. I've seen Ben's you got a nice house too, don't you, Ben? Everybody else? No? Well No. Get you there. There's You got a lot of opportunity here, Bob. Good. I need to be here more often. Gotta start handing out some cards. Right? I know. This is the place. Alright. So here, let's let's dig right in. So we've been like I said, we've been going through the the 10 reasons or what leaving my religion did for me.

One was you got some peace of mind, two, a rediscovery of a love of learning, three, the ability to accept people I formally judge, and four, was less judgment toward myself for some things. And, if you wanna listen to the past shows, you can kinda get a gist of how we've reacted to those. So far, I think we've been in agreement with some of his reasons to stop acting the way he was acting from a religious standpoint. I'm not sure directly led to reasons to, separate yourself from following Jesus, but that's, that's kinda where we've been so far.

So let's look at his, let's look at his number five. Number five, what leaving my into myself. And so, here's this kinda this is the script. Sorry. My my Internet is not going well for me. Where's Mike? Mike, my cover man. Do wanna see Mike tonight? No. No. He's not he's not around. Okay. He's supposed to cover stuff on the Chicken. When the Internet ain't running like it's supposed to.

So, anyway, here we go. I give credit where credit is due both to others and to myself. Like the preceding two, I think this makes me a healthier person than before. If someone does something good, I do not thank god for it. I thank the person who actually did it. What are your thoughts? Why would he not give credit to the person who did it beforehand? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. Hold on. He he expands a little more. He says they deserve credit for the things that they do. Doctors, for example, must get really tired of hearing people give God credit when their surgical medical skills and learning are what saved a person's life. My daily life isn't so dramatic as that, mind you, but it's This, thanks to my evangelical upbringing, is much harder to do. I found that the Christian faith discouraged me from acknowledging positive things. Applied to himself? Yeah. Yeah. It's, acknowledging positive things,

about myself, so they ended up with terrible self image. I still suffer from that because I learned self loathing so very well, but it's getting better little by little. I had to leave the Christian faith for that to happen. Alright. So there's this full robust discussion. Reactions. He he learned false humility. He didn't he didn't learn Yeah. You you know, I suppose he's talking about the the this I I just need to downgrade

myself all the time or or not give myself any crediting any credit for anything. Yeah. And that that's that's not in bible. That's not Where's he getting that from? Like, where's that stuff coming from? Am I wrong, or is he being a little go to the hospital and hear everybody say to the surgeons, you know, you're only doing that because and and it may be true. Maybe, you know, we all have, you know, our gifts because of God, but I don't hear that all day every day. It seems like he's you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like, I I mean, I I don't often hear, like,

these weren't your skills at all. Yeah. You know, I I I you do hear a lot. You know, you know, praise god everything went well. Thanks be to god that that, you know, the surgery was good. I'm glad I'm glad you were here, that you guided your hands, like, stuff like that. But is he really living in a world where he was hearing this and just being beat over the head with it all the time? Like, everywhere he goes, it was, like, you know, only because of god that happened. I mean I don't know. Yeah. I mean, I I hear it. I don't know that I'd say I hear it predominantly. Maybe heard a message on humility and then interpreted that as to say, well, I can't take credit for anything or or maybe he he heard some teaching on, you know, to to thank god for all the blessings you have and then thought, well, that means I had nothing to do with it. Well, god worked in partnership with you. You know? When I pray for people before surgery, I'm praying for the surgeons and I'm praying for the nurses and the whole medical team and and the anesthesiologist.

You know? I'm praying for everybody. And so when it works well, I'm like, well, praise god. You know? Good. You know? We that's we expected it because we prayed for that. I I don't discredit that team. Mhmm. Yeah. It it's not necessarily an either or. Like, god did this or human beings did this. I I think, you know, it can be a both and in the same picture as an entire team is necessary to make things happen. Yeah. You know? Sometimes you might just go thank one member of the team on behalf of the team, but, yeah, I god had as well. I think he should have been saying thanks and and throwing it around more. Yeah. And I would agree that it is kind of a false false sense of, I I think what God asked us to be from a humility standpoint.

What what did CS Lewis said that that, humility seen its right way is where you can walk into, you could build the greatest cathedral, like the most the prettiest building, and be able to walk into it and acknowledge how beautiful it is without any investment as to whether you had done it or not. You know what I'm saying? Like, you're not called to say this building is ugly. You're not called to say,

you know, no one did any work and did poor work. It's just like call things for what they are. Mhmm. But but there's no reason to to to act like people weren't part of those things, or or to say, hey, man. You know, something went well. Hey. You did a good job. Hey. Thank you. Even has skilled you to do as a way to point back to him. I I I don't know that that that maybe that's misconstrued to think that that's honoring god to do that.

Yeah. Yeah. Piety isn't, you know, hanging your head low and saying, woe is me, and and I didn't do anything. What Jesus called us to is a type of self abnegation where we're really irrelevant to the to the discussion. Yeah. We were involved, but whether or not we were we were the ones who were personally doing it really doesn't matter. We're not concerned for ourself and and what we do. If we take credit, sure. Okay. Great. If we if we were involved, you know, we're the author of it. Okay. Awesome. We were we had a part of that, but that doesn't mean that, you know, our our life is more fulfilled because of that or or anything like that. It it removes some of those trappings that arrogance often God's hard on this. I don't think that any Christian or Christ followers called to be self loathing.

That literally makes no sense. It goes against the whole fact that we're supposed to have joy in our lives, and and it just it doesn't compute for me. This guy has taken the fact that, yes, we do praise god for for the blessings that we have, and we do praise god for the skills that we get. God works through us, whether it be a surgeon and God works through the person's hands or the anesthesiologist or whether, God has blessed someone with skills to be able to do a certain task, whether that be, you know, being really good at science or being really good at math and teaching kids and all this different stuff,

that doesn't necessarily mean that the person shouldn't be congratulated or thanked. It it can happen in tandem. I think that the and is the best piece there. You can thank god for for sending the person and then thank the person for being there. You don't have to be self loathing. You don't have to be, unthankful. I was created in in the image and likeness of god, and I hate myself. And I suck. Like, what? Where is god loves me, but he wants me to hate myself. That Yeah. I'm not That doesn't make any sense. God. Thank you for being good for me. That that doesn't make sense. It's thank you god for making me,

skillful at this situation. It's not Mhmm. Thank you god for being skillful for me. Mhmm. Yeah. Yeah. God grants you that skill. God grants you that that that power that you have, that that certain intellect that you get. It has nothing to do with you being a back puppet that shouldn't be thanked. It's it's the fact that both can be thanked. Yeah. Yeah. Mean, love what god loves and he loves you. Yeah. Start there. Exactly. We're created for good works. Right. Yeah. That that god has ordained for us to do where his hands and his feet and like like David said, you know, it we're to separate ourselves from the ego part of it. You know, we're just doing his we're just doing his thing. We're just we're part of his kingdom. We're doing his work. Mhmm. It sound like good work wasn't completed somewhere. It was good work, and it was done. I I I gave this, I was trying to talk to one of my kids about this one time, trying to understand, like, what how we can understand humility brought rightly. And I said, this has come up at work a few times. Like, we they were looking for someone, and they needed something written. And they're like, Ben, know, who do you think the best, you know, who do you think the best resource we have? And, like, the truth was, I said, me. I I'm probably the best resource we have for this. I'll I'll I'll take care of that. And I'm not overly invested in that it's me doing whatever this work is. It's just that's that's the true nature. If they had said, hey. We need someone to to design, some sort of, marketing material that we have, I wouldn't have said me because I'm not the best resources. You gotta talk to Chuck, man. Chuck rocks the the marketing material. But but I mean, the the thing is is like the the point to to to my daughter at the time was I'm not overly invested on who it was. The point was dude on it. You know? Right. And if it's you, you're not called to be like, no. No. No. That's not that's not me. You know? Put the second rate guy in there because I'm trying to produce some humility here. The truth is, like, if you're the guy,

dig your heels in and do the work. Or or else you're cheating God and his people. Exactly. Like, that he's he's not called to that. He likes good work done. He calls you to good work. Do the good work. Mhmm. And so, basically, what he came to this thing was is that he had a terrible self image, and maybe some of that's because you're invested so much on what those things mean about you. Your identity is derived about how well people react to your work or what you do. Here's the here's the thing, man. There are people whose whose lives make them very make it very difficult for them to do anything that you would that most people would find valuable. You know, there are elements of society, like, due to their their circus their physical circumstances, their environmental circumstances. Like, you you could look at their life, and if you they have no shot at all of having any value

in their life. And then think to yourself, if it's not possible for a human being to do anything that the base based upon the way that you are judging value in their life and they can't have value at all, then I would say that you're looking at value incorrectly. You're looking at what makes people value, what is a good self image, what what says what am I what am I worth? If those elements society cannot have ever any value as a person, and and frankly, they feel that. They feel you looking at them that way. Then I would say, obviously, there's something wrong with the way that you hold value, and I would say, based upon what he's saying, that I mean, your your value system is just a little jacked. Right? Like, you're dependent on people saying, hey. That was that was great, man. Giving you that credit and building you up to derive where your self worth is from, I would say that that comes from God, and it's inherent. And that's why your your fringes are in your physical circumstance or your but, like, if that's where you've banked all your stuff in, then, yeah, it's gonna be an issue when God takes your glory,

I guess. So, boy, man, I hate to part ways with this guy because we were in agreement on one through four. He was ditching some certainly reasonable things that, judging folks he shouldn't. But,

I I mean so how how can we relate to what he's talking about? How can you relate to a guy who says, you know, I'm just I'm feeling like I I I I nothing can be accredited to me. I I don't get I don't I can't acknowledge positive things about myself, and I have a bad self image. I I do think he did a good job of highlighting a broken picture of what piety looks like. And so just being able to objectively look at that and ask, alright. What what is God's version of piety? How does God want me to see myself? Yeah. And and look at it from that perspective, I think, would be better than just adopting whatever you dig down and see, alright. How does god see me? Okay. I'll see myself the exact same way. Right. Because if there's a creator of the universe that knows everything and he sees me in that way, I might as well get on board with how he sees things. Right? Mhmm. That seems like the the classic way to handle it. Yeah. I mean and and if you see yourself here's the deals. I I I know that. That's a struggle with a lot of people is is how they see them how they see themselves. We're basically disagreeing with what God sees. He says, you're you're my child. You were made in my image and likeness, and we're like, no. I'm terrible. Like, what? You know, if God begs to differ, let's work on understanding where God's coming from,

and and not fighting him about that. And sometimes some of that comes with I I think the church has actually contributed to that, like Mhmm. With a false sense of piety, with misunderstanding where humility comes from, and some of it comes from there there's some theological things that cause that about how we're supposed to to see ourselves. But Yeah. It seems like a very of him trying to process, okay, if I am to be humble, like we kinda talked about, he he was processing and and that's what he came up with. I mean, I was in in college and I was just beginning to do a lot of public things

in in the church. You know, the more public things do, you have opportunity to get accolades Yeah. As well as criticism. But Yeah. But you also you need to learn how to handle both, you know? And I I remember talking to a professor one day. I said, I don't I don't know what to say when they come up. Hey. Great message. Whatever. I'm like, you said, well, just say thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, that's good. You know, that's classic. Wow. I never thought of that. Yeah. Because I was, you know, I think in the beginning, I was like, oh, no, it's all god. You know, was like, well, no, I did spend, you know, X number of hours sitting down, writing this stuff, thinking it through, and so I had some input and and it just say thank you and and move on. Yeah. I mean, here here here's what I what I think we can come to is he just he could've he could do it himself. Mhmm. You know what I'm saying? Like, you could sit in an auditorium on Sunday morning, and he could just send his voice out, and people could soak it in. Right? He sends he's the he's the king of a kingdom, and he sends the citizens in his kingdom to do his work and to do good work, and we can recognize it's good. If we're not if we refuse to recognize it's good, we're ignoring the fact that he sent us to good work. Mhmm. Right? And and we're we're ignoring the fact that he says, as you come into my kingdom, I have work for you to do. I expect you to do it. So, you know, if you're called to do the work and we recognize that it's good, we're just it's foolish to act like it's not. Yeah. And and that's not what we're called to do. You know, and and a false piety will

also draw more attention to yourself. Yeah. Sometimes there's a subconscious that says, well, if I just keep saying, oh, no. No. It's not me, then people gotta, oh, no, no, really, you really was good. No, it's not. No, it's good. You know, and it just kind of, it just draws out. It actually puts more of the spotlight on you. Yeah. In a weird way. Unlikely for someone to actually call you out on it and say, no, that's false pirate. No, that's false. Yeah. Yeah. That's very rare for a religious community to do. No. That's true. That's true. We live in that. Alright. Oh, man. I I'll miss you on number five, fella. Next week, he's, oh, interesting. Next week, we'll talk about getting Sundays back. He's been missing his Football. He's been missing his Sundays.

Yippee. Sleeping. Buffet. Is that what you do to open Sunday, Dan Hudson? That's what I would do at brunch time. Holy cats. Okay. Hey. Someone talked to the someone talked to these guys. So I saw on some billboards around town for, like, the the area's largest buffet. Hibachi? Have you seen that? Hibachi? Oh, yeah. Yeah. I see. Is it good? Okay. So I went there with a a couple avid buffet goers,

and we Wait. Hold on. So what what qualifies you as an avid buffet? Like, how often do you have to go? It was more along the lines of we know what we're talking about. I'm so sad to say this. We actually started breaking down everything as we started walking in. That's how you know you're an avid buffet goer. We broke down the amount of space that there was before you even get into the restaurant because there's gonna be a lot of people waiting in line. There were, like, couches area, and we made that our nap time area. That's cool. Pretty funny. Okay.

We judged based off amount of, lines or, excuse me, tables of how many tables there were, what the seating was like, if it was, good enough for big dudes, then, how much variety there was and sign usage and placement of where food was,

we gave it a seven out of 10. That seems like pretty good. It was pretty good. Was Did it feel like, the area's largest buffet? Yeah. Lanes of food And then a whole sushi grill and an entire, Mongolian grill area where you can go and feed yourself, then they have, like, tubs of ice cream rather than soft serve. Oh, man. They even have a a pho buffet too, which is pretty unique in buffets. What is it? I've seen that pho. What's the what's a V and Soup? Yeah. It's a V and Soup. Pho? Yeah. Pho. What is that? V h o. Can you say that on this shelf? Yeah. We're on the internet. Should. Would just say why we shouldn't put any more consonants on the end of your life.

That was the first time I've seen that at a buffet. Is it pretty good? Yeah. It's delicious. Are you a are you a fan of pho? I am. Yeah. Okay. Bob got me into it. Nice. Bob lured you into the pho? Yeah. It's quite a trap. What's it cost? Do you, can you say what this buffet cost? I think it was $12. Oh, man. So, not bad. I think lunch, it's even, I went at lunch. It was like $8. Nice. Yeah. We want dinner. Are you willing to go back? Because I feel like I'd like to go. Yeah. You need a buddy? Yeah. Okay. I'll go. We're going to talk about this because here's the deal. I kept looking at my Buffet date. But I tried to get my wife to go. I said, man, look at that. Largest buffet. I watch it. Like, I kept saying it that way. Gotcha. And I think I ruined it. Because I said it like that. But I mean, that guy looks jazzy, and, like, I feel like his his food's gonna be good. Here's the deal. It was such an event for me that I sent out an Outlook event

calendar invite to people. It was hibachi bro date, and I sent it weeks before, and I came up with the whole backstory to us going, and it was awesome. Hot dang. Okay. We're gonna do this stuff. You're in, John. You've already committed. The eight people that are listening know that you said you're going. It's good stuff. Okay. Eric, you going? Yeah. I'm I'm wanting to know when's the invite. I know what's Outlook calendar. Alright. Let's go. Okay. Let me the Facebook, you guys can come too. Alright. You didn't even wanna come watch it. Okay. Sweet. Okay. That's what we're gonna do. Alright. Dan, what's what's happening? What's happening? Alright.

Alright. Woman woman lies about her age to join Facebook. A woman named Anna wanted to join Facebook. She was a 113. It's rough times. Yeah, pretty rough time and the oldest age when you set up a new account for Facebook, it only goes to age 99. So, she had, she was like, what do I do? I'm I'm I'm you know, that was my youth. So, she had to. That was my. Lie. Cut fifteen years off her age in order to create her

account for Facebook. I don't know who her friends were. I'm like, anyway, so here's the question though. Okay. When is it okay for a Christ follower to not be truthful? Alright. A, never. Jesus said to let your young man from physical or mental harm. Or c, truth is relative. It all depends on how you define the facts.

Tricky. Yeah. I I'm I'm in with b. Biblically, I'm at least in with b. Rahab will lie. Rahab was permitted to lie to divert people.

Alright. I'm gonna go with the answer that's closest to the truth. So for her, 99 was the option closest to the truth. That's what she selected. Yes. We went beyond her, though. We're we're talking about just in in general life. In general? Most of us aren't one thirteen. Trying to say more. Truthful in all things. So are you saying if you if you can tell the truth, you have to,

you're obligated to? Yeah. Up to the level of of If if your wife says, do I look good in these jeans? It's one thing. If the boss says, hey. Did Sam take that steak knife home with him? Well, like, my daughter's three years old, and if she asks why the sky is blue, I'm not gonna start talking about wavelengths of light

and refraction patterns and things like that. You're cheating her. Way over her head. So I'm gonna give her the answer that's as close to true as I possibly can that's still within her grasp. Yeah. So I don't know. It's not exactly true as far as I know it, but it's But not false. It's gonna be what she needs for the answer. You're not misdirecting Correct. The conversation to to deceive.

No. Although Rahab did. Yes, she did. Yes. I I know. No. That's an element of warfare though is deception. Yeah. Yeah. All fair in in Israel. Just started quoting a very common quote and then decided, man. I skipped half of it. I filtered it. I said, I don't know about love. All fairy. Yeah.

War. War. Yeah. I mean, Is that a biblical concept too? I don't know. War. Is that one of the 67 misconstrued biblical concepts? All's fair and love and war? That's not Deuteronomy. No. Not not in this housing market. It's always. Tricky. Okay. How do you deal with the Rahab then? Like, simply, we we can you can couch it under. It is a it is a tactical war. That's fine. I mean, I guess to that extent, now that I'm thinking about it in a from a war perspective,

it's not like you only can come from the front. Like, you send a few guys. In fact, there's a biblical where we send some guys from the front and then they come in from behind. It was like, I was deceived. I thought everyone was in the front. Also also, Rahab was not a believer. She was not a a a follower of god. She's came in and said, hey. She was listed in yeah. But wasn't she? I mean, she ended up bruises like a Hey. I sinned before I became a follower myself.

I think I think I think that's a cheat, Dan. I think that's writing it off too cleanly. Yeah. God and his agents were benefited from her lie. So Yeah. But they but he didn't necessarily direct her. Okay. Say this when they come in. She did it. And it turned out well. I don't know about commended for it. I mean, there were prostitutes in the lineage of Jesus too but god wasn't saying, alright. I want you to be a prostitute.

No. But isn't that isn't Rahab listed in in Hebrews is one of like the like that chapter on Hebrews 11? Yeah. Is it sorry. Maybe I'm wrong about it. I'm gonna say, I think I think you're right though. Yeah. I'm pretty. Oh, man. But she did not do that in faith. She wasn't thinking, I'm gonna really honor god. No. Category based upon that specific action, not just like general faith or she came to Jesus. It's like based

upon that action. True. That's how they refer. I I just can't imagine too many times when that circumstance would come up for us. Unless you're like, say, hiding Jews in the holocaust. Yeah. That that's generally the next example. Right? Yeah. So, like, what do you have to rat out Anne Frank? Right. Yeah. No. Just keep your mouth shut. Yeah. I would I would go with a where it says never. I don't think god really has instances where it's okay to sin. Yeah. So in that sense, I'd say

there might be instances where for us, it's morally okay. I mean, if I were to save some of your guys' lives, I'd probably lie. I don't know if that would technically be still not sinning. I mean, it's a protection of life. Right? So, like, there's a it's not like there's not a moral

not there's a there's a moral It's not a persecution to Jesus thing. Yeah. So Yeah. Yeah. I I would say that that, like, it's it it may not be you're not you're not striking the right tenor Like, God will be upset

if if anything that is is not the strictest truth comes out your mouth. Right? Because, that that betrays a certain a certain inconsistency that have shown up biblically. And b, I think the the examples example is a good one. Right? Like, you didn't give everything you know

about how the why the sky is blue, but you weren't being deceitful. Right? Like, there's there's distinctions, and a lot of it is is what pours forth to the heart. Like, what what were you intending to do here? Were you intending to deceive from someone for the purposes of nefarious means? Right. Or were you honoring God with the best with with the options that you had? I think that's what makes it a grayer area Yeah. The the intent. And and and I don't A lot of what John's getting to, though, there is less gray area than you think. Mhmm. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, the guy that that thinks there's gray area, I'm sorry. You're mistaken. Yeah. There isn't. Like, the Anne Frank guy, okay. Rahab, alright. Is that the situation you're in? No. No. That is not. You're trying to get away with something because you're being in a boot. You're you're lying to save your job because you did something incorrectly. That's correct. Yeah. Yeah. You you yeah. I wouldn't do that. Yeah. So I would I would, and may maybe this gets a gets at what you're saying, but, like, I would wait for God to smack me upside the head with a with a caveat if one should exist. Otherwise, I would generally stick firmly to the fact that, like, you tell the truth.

Stick to things that are right. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Here here's the next one. Okay. Alabama pastor has AIDS, Juan Demetrius McFarlane

revealed the worshippers at Shiloh. He had discovered he had full blown AIDS in two thousand and eight, continued to sleep with church members. He also been taking drugs and mishandling church finances. He's been removed as the pastor. Church leaders have obtained

they're focused on moving the church forward. They said our move moves are gonna come directly from council. They're gonna talk to their attorneys. Okay. All of their advice. We want peace. We wanna do things the right way legally. He says we're not looking to hurt him. We're looking to get our church back. That's the theme. Some members, however, say they want justice. Right? He's he's wronged a lot of people Yep. When you do something. So how would you recommend this church move forward? A,

sue the pants off the preacher. He did the crime. Let him do the time. It is a poor choice of words. Uh-huh. Now that I think about it. B, let him go. C, sit down with the elders of the church and have them negotiate a plan for reconciliation that both parties will agree to. I I'm gonna pull a poll on this one and just say, such things are not done even among the pagans. Yeah. Right. No. No. Yeah. Yeah. That's all I guys out. I mean Yeah. Not only he's out, but, like, based upon the reaction, I'm not sure the elders shouldn't be going to. Yeah.

Like, the, is this? Yeah. Well, they they they dismiss him around. Mhmm. It took them a while to dismiss him. Yeah. That's what I wonder. How long did they know about it? Yeah. Yeah. No. No. No. Like, it sat in the like, it was in the media for a while before they made that reaction. Okay. So, no, like

yeah. Yeah. He needs to be he needs to be kicked. Not necessarily out of the church entirely, obviously, but he needs to be kicked out of any kind of power whatsoever, any kind of standing in the church, and then he needs to be about what Christ should be in his life. Obviously, that's not going on, and we need to speak to him as he's one that doesn't even believe. He's still a son and daughter of gods. We need to continue to talk to him and and work his life, but, you know, he should not be in any place that he can speak over people and speak into people's lives. Yeah. I I I mean, I would say that that this appropriately be for the for the sake and the health of his community, he, if

there's going to be any sort of reconciliation with him and god, it's gonna have to happen in a different community. Like, it is not healthy for the people in Oh, right. Yeah. Community for him to be there. Yeah. I mean, I don't know where I intend to try to find someone who'd be willing to take him on. I think we should. I don't think you can't cut that off completely. I recommend prison ministry. Yeah. There you go. Option. Yes, some options when you get some.

Yeah. Yeah. Well, and you you think about it. My heart hurts just thinking about that. I don't, you know, I've always tried to figure out what does that mean? Judge more harshly. I mean, you know, he'll know. Yeah. He'll find. Here's the deal. I don't want to know. I I mean, I don't know. I don't know how you can come to scripture and not and not have something that that that takes you down a peg if you don't take that seriously. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like like anything that comes out, I like there have been times where I'm like, I'm I'm extra careful what might come out my mouth because I'm like, I don't I don't know. Like, I just wanna do what I'm supposed to do and that's that seems like a high bar, man. I don't wanna be jacking with a high bar like that. And so

yeah. Yeah. I mean, I guess I I it portrays a man who says, I don't believe god. Yeah. Exactly. You you can see that that there's a lack of works in his life. You can see that there's a lack of of of I mean, I hate to say faith, but, I mean, there's there's just not works happening. Yeah. He's not producing fruit. He's gonna be spoken to as as one that's not even in the church and one that's not even a believer. We need to retalk to him like he's one of the Gentiles and talk to him and just say, hey, here's the situation. You've got this stuff going on. Jesus still loves you. Let me introduce you. Let's start with that. Yeah. Exactly. Jesus isn't a a presence in your life based on the works that's happening. You're not showing,

a fruit bearing. You're not a tree that's bearing fruit. You're not a vine that's bearing fruit. You're an issue. Yeah. We need to speak to you like you are an issue. Right. And realizing that you are still loved by God, realizing that your sin is no different than any others from God's perspective of it being sin, obviously, I think. Yeah. But, ultimately, we need to speak to him and become make him become another brother. Work on his heart and and ask Jesus to to reenter his his heart and and the holy spirit to remake itself,

known and written on his heart. That's fine. I mean, that's assault. I I don't know how giving a Yeah. Exactly. Is not an assault and manslaughter. Mhmm. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What do you think? Too harsh, John? No. I don't think so. No, John. I agree with TS. Okay. It seems like a classic case of a person who was converted to Jesus but never discipled. Yeah. Yeah. And then he got in position to be a discipler.

He didn't have, he didn't disciple either. So. Well, it's a mess. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That that does that that does a a man turns your stomach, right? Yeah. I mean, it's not only so, I mean. We're making faces over here the whole situation. Yeah. I mean, it's it's it's anybody. Right? But, like, he's used he's used a position in the church

to perpetrate that kind of thing with He's become a stumbling block for his brothers. That's what he's become. He's become an issue in his church, in it with, you know, the people he's supposed to be above community. And now you're not. You're like, that's not something's gonna stop. It's like seriously. I'm just saying. Knock it off now. I'm not saying I do it, but I'm not saying it didn't occur to me. You know, I don't I I've always struggled because you hear this kind of thing once in a while. Yeah. You know? And I I don't I don't understand. I don't I can't comprehend how does that conversation even happen with multiple people within the church, Let alone one. Hey, I'm I'm the pastor and let me show you some god stuff. I mean, how how does that crossover

to, why don't you take your clothes off? I mean, I I don't I don't even and then to face them regularly, you know, teaching the Bible and then a prayer set. I I I don't I just don't get it. It's beyond my ability. Yeah. Yeah. I I barely had it. I didn't even know how to ask my wife out. I don't know how these guys are. Let alone province and then, oh, let's talk about a little more. It's like, ew. I don't. Have you been Slong of Solomon? What?

Yeah. It just. Alright. We're not at the internet only portion of the program. We better hold up. Oh, okay. Fair enough. Let's let's move on. This was an actual local Iowa. I think it was Cedar Rapids. A couple went out for their anniversary. They had a terrible They waited twenty minutes for water, then they waited forty minutes for an appetizer,

then they waited an hour for their entrees. They responded by leaving a $100 tip and a note that read, we've both been in your shoes paying it forward. The wife posted a photo of the receipt to her Facebook page back on September 27. It went viral racking up over 1,300,000

plus by now. Likes. She had no I mean, that wasn't her intent. She was just, hey. Look at this that we did. The couple met while they were both working at servers and restaurants eight years through understanding, you know, he's doing his job as best he could. So here's here's the question. How would Jesus tell his followers to respond to this bad experience? If you're at a restaurant, you get this how should you respond? Yep. A, make a big stink, yell at the server, the manager, and the owner. Let them know how you are unhappy after all you paid good money for a rotten experience and then leave a penny tip and a gospel track behind. That's one? Yep. That's option one. That was one option. I had to breathe in the middle of it.

B, give exceedingly generously to the server because you know it wasn't his fault. That's what they did Or or c, sneak out without paying because you know no one's gonna notice you're missing for an hour anyway. This one's an easy b. Yeah. Yeah. It's an easy b. Wouldn't you be tempted to sneak out? Yeah, certainly. But Sneak out and not pay at all? Yeah, just sneak out. Oh. Dine. You don't have to lie about it. We're not asking to lie. Yeah. Yeah. You're just talking about

lying. Eric was talking about. I didn't bring it up. Exactly. Yeah, I'll go with B as well. I I I think I love the concept of A just because it cracks me up of leaving a penny tip, making a big stink, and then leaving a gospel track. That's good stuff. Yeah. But no, B is the answer. The sad thing is is you hear stuff like that happen. Yeah, exactly. It's embarrassing. Yeah. Will. So, this is the worst day. I don't have to tip you. Yeah. Let me talk to you about Jesus through a piece of paper. Yeah, yeah. Christians are known to be the the the worst tippers. Sunday afternoons are the no server wants to work on a Sunday. Yeah. Because the church people come in and they leave. Hey. Represent Jason and Jason. Money. Had to tip.

No. It's ridiculous. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I I don't actually, I mean, yeah, Whatever. I have some sympathy within some lives and other people at a legit bad server. Who knows? I mean, he he can't not know that. Okay. I mean, no one likes being a job that thinks Gotta be evident. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So goes, they've been waiting for twenty minutes for water. Even then and and maybe that's been that's been something that's been growing on me, I guess, over the last year or so is, like, even the people that I find absolutely outrageous

as opposed to be, like, putting in the bucket that says they are intentionally outrageous. Mhmm. I I think to myself, like, something's up. Something's missing in that guy's life where, like, he don't love anybody, or something missing in their life where, like, they they keep doing things over and over again that that that, like, poison themselves, and you're like, you can get pissed at that stuff, and I'm like, no. I mean, something's up. So something's up. Something's going on in their life. Yeah. Yeah. I I mean, like and and and they're like, I've I've just seen that in in

in a lot of different ways. And I'm like, have some sympathy for people. You know? It's didn't say, hey. Today, things ain't gonna go right in my life. You know? Like, it was an intentional thing. There's just something's not coming together for them. And, I mean, they may have caused some themselves, but, like, have some sympathy for them. And so yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I I actually there there's there's there's some certain people that I that we eat dinner with every once in while. Like, I'm just I didn't wanna go out with them because of the way they treat people. Mhmm. I'm like, I mean, I don't even wanna be sitting at the table with them. I I went to with a group of pastors in in Colorado. I used to go out there quite often for this this gathering and I I was just kind of that situation. Yeah. They weren't mean. They just totally like the server didn't exist. They wouldn't look at him. They wouldn't met my eye contact. They just expected to be served and I'd be like, hey, thank you, you know, and. Yeah. You know, I I just thought, wow. This is like, these are all pastors. These guys are. Yeah, right. Loving shepherd people. You know, it's like, no. That's kind of that embarrassed me. A ladies magazine.

A ladies informational magazine. Come out wrong. Thank you for that. Like like a Red Book or something. I don't know. Anyway, it was like, if you're looking for the guy that you wanna marry, look how he treats the the waitresses or the the wait staff. Yeah. Because, you know, it's

your shine is gonna come off in a couple years, and he's gonna revert how he deals with people. And, like, if he deals with people like that, you know, it's it's probably gotta stay away from. And that stuck with me. And now before I ever date a fellow, I'm like, how does he treat? Hey, man. I'm gonna start to treat weight staff better. Yeah. Maybe that's my situation. I need to stop yelling at the weight staff. Yeah. You'll get a date. Sweet. Yep. Although, I mean, on the opposite side, yeah, I it didn't occur to me till years later. I thought, well, the red book has kinda put the lady in a weird spot. She's like, when you're his wait staff. Yeah. Exactly. Where can I get myself a lady that brings sandwiches? Right

now, I make I make my own sandwiches. I feel like you should just shy away from that entirely right now, man. Hey, babe. You know, as you know, I treat the wait staff. That could be you. Oh, man. Yeah. So, here's your deal. You need to report back to us on how that goes this week, next week on the show. No, no, my accountability, accountability fells have talked me out of that a couple of times. I said, I got a fresh idea, boys. Don't you just love accountability buddies at that point in time? It's like, alright. This is my newest stupid idea. I really need you guys to completely shoot this down for me. Yeah. I think one time I came up with a phrase. I was like, here's what you say.

Sweetheart, let me lead you in this area. Oh. Oh. And they really? They said, that's not a good idea, man. I said, no. No. This is solid. Rock solid. Nice one, man. They They talked me out it, though. They talked me out of it. I feel like it was solid enough. It's just, you know, you better leave that be. Alright. Alright. Is that everything you got, Dan? That's it. That's hey, man. That's what was happening in the world. You can

yeah. We can keep you up to date. If you wanna if you see something going on in the world and you're like, man, that's what's happening. I wonder what the Life and Path fellows think. Let us know. So we just opened a radio show, and I have it in front of everybody.

And, but with a small number of people in the room because that's what I do. But so I can set up that thing on appointment online at Westfield I think that's alright. Okay. Second of all, the Eisenhower team. John is John is, hanging out in the studio with us, with the Eisenhower team. You go to eisenhowerteam.com. And, again, those guys are easy to work with. They're tough to beat.

I I've I've drugged them out traipsing through a couple houses within the last year and a half or so, and and they didn't work out because I'm I'm cheap, and I try to get things on the sly. Yeah. We saw some creepy houses out there. We did. We did. We saw some shifty items, but John was always more than gracious. To come on, man. No one's killing the house. There

was yeah. Yeah. It it and it's it's it's always it's always been a great experience. I I bought my you know, lots of good opportunity out there, and they're they're great. And, again, my schedule is not easy, and they were always, more than willing to come out and and make things work for us so we could take time to look at some stuff. And so, again, personally, I can I can vouch what what are the phone numbers, John? What what if they wanna get ahold of you that way? Yeah. You can get ahold of John, myself here at, (515) 783-4837. I work with my dad. He's a 770 770

Bob. Wait. Wait. He owns 770 That is Yeah. He locked that down about I'm jealous. Years ago. That is awesome. 770. Okay. Cool. Then Bob, he's at 979-2883. And like you said, I'm I'm taking over the eisenhowerteam.com,

so check out that website. I'm keeping it up to date. Cool. Cool. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. And and and as I always say, even if you're not, you don't need vet services or don't need a path. They, they keep us on the air. The the wise guys at KTA say you ain't on for free. And so so, really, if you enjoy the program, you have John, Bob, and the guys from Westfield Vet Hospital to thank. So, anyway, if you were listening on KTIA, the truth network, We've gotta let you go. So if you're if you're just hanging off for the podcast, just give us a minute or two. But otherwise, we'll let you go. We will see you next week. Thanks for listening to live from the path.

I was hitting the wrong button. Like, I I I have a I have a slider over here that has it's my music. It's my music over here. And, I was moving the one up next to it. It wasn't creating my tunes. And so it didn't buffer me. It was just my dry speech and my bad handling of the transition. Were you turning me up the whole time? Sorry about that. Yeah. Yeah. More than I could've been humming in the background. Heard a bunch of creepy breathing. That's our transition. Oh, man. Hey, man. The the,

there's a new Rhett Walker band CD coming up tomorrow. Do you guys see that? Oh. I love those guys. We saw them, they were in concert in Norwalk, and, they're just it's a great show. And they got a they got a song coming out. They performed it live over there. It's called tattoos and cigarettes. And I loved it. I just I loved that tune, and it's coming out on the album tomorrow. So I'm gonna pick up a pick that up as it came out. We talked to them a little bit. They're supposed to be they're gonna do some stuff us on this. They love Jesus. They put on a great show. And, make sure you check that out. Go to the Rhett Walker Band, and you can find them on Facebook. And that, the CD, here's to the ones that comes out tomorrow. So check that out. I, I really enjoy those guys. Alright. What do we got? Shoot. Mike's still out here. Here's the deal. What's that? I need to lock down

515 Troy. Yeah. I really need that number now. 770 Is that what it was? Yeah. Boy, that's great. Awesome. Have you had a four legged name too? Are you working on 770, John? Yeah. That's what I need. I was gonna say. Bob, he's out. Yeah. He can. He he can have Bobby. Or like Bob 7. That's not cool though. No. That's not cool. That's not Gotta come up with o one booba. What about Bob's? B O B S. No. I think it's I think it gets confusing if it's not just your straight name. I think John can pull it off. I I yeah. Yeah. Bob's out of luck. Whatever, man. I'm good. Yeah, I don't know if there's. 440

Why am I pressing this number so many times? Actually, I can do 515 Oh, that's awesome. That's what I'm saying. I can have. Nice. I have no chance. My full name also fits on a license plate. That that I think is less. How come you haven't capitalized on this? I mean, I don't know. There's no way. I should get to it before someone else does, right? Think I'm going to order it right now. Oh god. Actually, I'm going to try to pick up 77O

John, and then I'm gonna sell it to you at an outrageous price. Yeah. Like an Internet address. Do you own johneisenhower.net? I do not. I'm coming for you, John. Exportions.

Hey. Okay. So here, we'll do some advice on Dear Life and the Path real quick. I wanna let let me hit a couple of these. Maybe we can pick through these in a few over the course of a few weeks, but here was 67 surprising things not found in the Bible. How many can you guess? Although, it's not like, hey. Does this exist? Yes or no? He just is. Here we go. One, here's here's one of them. Jesus being the reason for the winter season. What? No.

Says not in the Bible. We are the reason. Says we're not sure what time of the year Jesus was born. December to January 6 was just a beautifully symbolic guess. It's not found in the Bible. We agree with that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. Jesus is not the reason for There's nothing secret about December 25. Yeah. Okay. Alright. Good. Well, here's what we got here. The word or even the concept of a halo

is not in the bible. She kinda grew up Lord. There's Moses' face glowed when he was in the presence of the lord. I think that's the closest equivalent. Yeah. But nothing with, like, the circle above the head. No circle, gold circle thing. Yeah. No. Holy Spirit's light. We're full of holy spirit. Illuminating Circle. No. Nothing about a glowing halo around your head. Okay. Alright.

What else we got here? An apple in the Garden Of Eden. Right. Fruit. That's true. It's only fruit. Fruit. Yeah. Also fruit. Right. They thought they think it's probably a pomegranate or something or. Oh, who knows? I mean, yeah, nobody knows. It just says. Dude, who straight bites to do a pomegranate? They deserve. That's gross. Personally, I think it's a durian. I know. If you've ever had a durian. It tastes great but it smells

awful. What is it? What is what is it? What Durian. Do Durian fruit. What's that? Do you guys know that? Yeah. No. I've never. It it's a big spiny type fruit on the outside. You open it up. It's got these little yellow

things on the inside, but And it smells rotten. That's it. It it it tastes great, but it smells There's Awful. Some city Banned on public transportation. I mean They have to grow it outside of city limits. Mhmm. It's. Yeah. It's supposed to taste okay. Has to be it. And then smell awful. Pretty good. I. Grapefruit. I would put it close to a mango in terms of its flavor but. I've never tried one. I want to. Where can I get it? Not in this city. Southeast Asia grows it. I mean, can you get involved in like an Asian marketer somewhere around here? Probably.

Move, dude. I mean. Imagine. Next Monday. I mean, can you bring one in? Let me see if I can contact somebody to see if we have any in one. You can get anything on the internet. Well, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Let me see what I mean. Except Duran. John, The internet forbids Duran. Duran, I don't think John, I think you should be eBaying fruit. Yeah. Yeah. I don't want to have a bunch of fruit shipped to me by some shuckster.

A big fruit 59. Smelly smelly durian 45, 45. Like your website's low rent. Nothing like that. Here's the deal. A 98% positive feedback rating on a guy that ships food is not enough for me. Yeah. Negative review. Full session. Like this. You're out. Because I can, you know, you're the only one writing your own reviews. Like, you're logging into your eBay account on yourself multiple times saying, hey, man. This guy's good. It's me.

Here we go. Discipleship, a made up word based on a military Latin mistranslation of students. Any clear doctrine of original sin, let alone total depravity. Sure. There are proof texts you can find to support. Oh, shoot. This is only showing, like, half a thing.

Is this talking about, like, the word? Hold on. Let me let me get to that one a little bit later because, like, this is only showing me half of what I need to see, and I don't think that we're getting a full explanation. A singular apocalyptic antichrist figure. Correct. Yeah. John, you Antichrists. Yeah. Yep. Yep. And it's not even in Revelation. It's in John. First John.

Antichrist? Yeah. Trust me. The yeah. I think you're right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The the dragon's there. The the beasts there. Right. False prophet is there. Attach those antichrist. Right. Exactly. Yep. But that's it. That's us. Yep. Agreed. Not me though. Not me. I don't do that.

We'll see any mention of Mary remaining a virgin after Jesus' birth? Correct. That's a Catholic theology. Yeah. As a matter of fact, I I I would confirm the exact opposite of that. He had brothers that wrote scripture. That's it. Half brothers. Half brothers. Still wouldn't apply participation. Yeah. On the slide of the mother's behalf. We're all adults here. We know what had to happen. Yeah. Let's see. Although, I from from a Catholic position, they would have generally said that. Alright. So let's see. Oh, we got one more here. Any overwhelming proof that Jesus was poor? He says most evidence suggests the opposite.

They get that from Isaiah maybe. Where he was born? Son of man doesn't have a place to lay his head. Is that a is that more of a theological statement than a It fits with his position on money. He seems to abhor money. I mean, like, he's allergic to riches type of thing. Yeah. It would be mean, it'd be weird. Mhmm. It would be weird. I wonder what's the that one's what I found interesting. I wonder what proof he's like, what's he talking about? I he's connected to people who are rich. Yeah. I mean, he like, when Lazarus was raised from the dead, it it was a pretty well connected family. Yeah. So.

But it's also connected with the poor too. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. I I think that's just based off, like, his lifestyle. Showed something to put place to place. He didn't overly, like, have any kind of pomp. He didn't have a lot of, like, running along with it except for the fact that he was coming as the as the new king. You know, actually and that that would be pretty interesting living coming from the town that they come from based upon where they stayed. It would imply lesser connections.

Otherwise, you could have stayed somewhere else Right. Where they did. The manger. Yeah. And and, you know, given the amount of taxes and stuff on your average Jewish citizen, I don't know. Maybe that just seems unlikely to me but I wonder what's I'm looking at that bar. I'm interested to know where that, like, where that comes from. The born in a manger thing or? No. No. No. I get that part. I I'm just wondering. He's being rich. Yeah. Yeah. Like, what what what is he says the most proof points to him being rich? I just I have nothing's coming to mind that would point me to that. So, I'm just interested where it's come from. I know the apostolic bands collected money.

Do whether it's money or. Yeah, right. I mean, it's he multiplies his own food. I mean, I suppose there's wealth in that but Yeah. But he he didn't know one of the bread shop. Didn't have, like, a cart that he's like, come on. Here we go. More bread. Sell. Yeah. Interesting. Wasn't really lucrative for him. Yeah. Alright. Oh, go check that out. Alright. Maybe we'll peck at some of those as as weeks go by. Here we go. A couple bits of advice. Dear life from the path. My lunch date for today canceled on me. Generally, when a girl does this, I'd leave her number and move on.

But in this instance, it wasn't a first or second date. We've been seeing each other for about a month and have built up some degree intimacy. Moreover, I know she's not lying when she says she had a busy week. She apologized via text not once but twice. Nevertheless, I feel that as genuine as her apology was and as she has seemed in time, in the time we have been together, this instant indicates either a lack of caring or integrity. Would I be right to forget her in LA? Yeah. You're over in LA. Holy cat. What a love. Are you kidding standard little

We've been dating consistently for about a month now. I really enjoy her company. I think she's a great gal, but this one time she canceled on me, should I complete and throw away? Busy week and all. Either lack of caring or integrity? Really? What up? You have a lack of caring and integrity, you big jerk. Is this all it takes to for you to throw away a relationship? Yeah. Hey, can we get the gal's number so we can call her and say, hey, We got some advice for you. You need to dump this jerk. I'd love to see this guy's marriage vows. To having to hold for better and for worse till death do us part unless you stand me up. Yeah. I was gonna say, you better never cancel a lunch date. Wow. Dinner and I have reservations. Get over yourself. If this, see what this tells you about the guy. He has a protocol for people skipping lunch with him. What?

I, this has not happened to me so often that I have to have like a generally, here's how I handle it. I I can see this happening at least more than twice then. I'm starting to see cause and effect within reverse order here. Yeah. First time, he doesn't have a procedure. Second time, oh, I should have seen this coming. That means he had a procedure after that. This has happened more than three times. Boy. Oh. He's been stood up on multiple occasions. So what what so what is your advice to this man? Shut up. Be gracious. Yeah. Boy. Be thankful, man. Buy

now. Yeah. Like like, if someone someone you have have are supposed to care about has called and said, I'm having a rough week. I just can't make I just can't make lunch. Say, hey, man. How can I What can I do to make your day less stressful? You know, did he say he said that she stood her up or stood him up? Yes. But she told him. So that means she

probably why he's in such a tailspin. But he's apologized a couple of times. I I mean, accept the apology, bro. Be a little annoying, though. I mean, no. Don't get me wrong. That'd be annoying. Yes. Yeah. So yeah. Stood up. But I I mean, maybe this is like first or second date. Yeah. Completely ditched the situation. I can understand that but he's saying they've grown to have a level of certain intimacy. They've been dating for a month now. She had a really busy week and she flaked at him one time. Yeah. Another chance. She's apologized. Yeah. Here's here's what he needs to do. He needs to make an appointment at a spa for Friday

late afternoon, drop her off, let her get pampered, get a get a movie, a video for home, and some popcorn, and bring her over, and let her relax and fall asleep on the couch while they watch a movie. Dan, that was adorable. Thank you.

That's an interesting people falling asleep on each other's couches without a marital relationship. I'm not saying to do anything. I'm saying leave her alone. I'm just saying Don't touch her. It's outside of your box, man. That's Yeah. I'm saying show her some love. You're doing you don't really have trust in people's natural boundaries. I'm just saying I'm surprised. Fall asleep on the couch. What he didn't say was he meant to say put a hazmat tent around her so that she can't get out. She can sit on the loveseat. You can sit in the recliner. That's what I was thinking. You can hang on the sofa. Snuggle up in the movie. Go to her apartment. When she falls asleep, you slide out and go sit on the chair and finish the movie. Watch a story about the disciple ship of people.

Put on the I I get what you're saying, but, I mean, it's not like Dan's advocating that. If they're prone to do that sort of thing, they're gonna do it. No. I And if I'm if they're not prone to it, then that doesn't change. No. No. No. No. I I hear you. And I'm not I'm not implying it has to be an appearance. It's just, Dan usually doesn't Adrian. Look at each other's money. Guys aren't married yet. You can't be in the same state. That's damn some of you. I know what you're thinking. Go to cover after you. Sinner. Alright. Alright. So our advice is yeah. Yeah. Take a breath, man. Things are gonna be alright. Yeah. Support her. Yeah. I mean, I I mean, no one likes to be stood up. Mhmm. But, you know, just like the waiter, give him benefit of doubt. I think it's gonna be a workout alright. If it happens again, either you could start taking Yeah. That's right. Yeah. To it. It's not gonna work out. She's just too lazy to break up with you. Mhmm. Yeah. Alright.

Here we go. Secular advice was, your problem isn't that you are a classic over analyzer. It's that you insecure to the point of courting rejection when none is there. People can't always control their schedules, and cancellations can happen more than once without yet a woman whose company you enjoy unless you are a masochist.

Boy, that's a little more fierce than, secular generally is. Yeah. Okay. She's really let it roll. Alright. Let's hit one more. Maybe secular was the one having a really tough week. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So Massive I told you. I'm sorry. Oh, here we go. I have a wonderful daughter who is a perfect mother and wife. The problem is she's in her forties and dresses really inappropriately, sometimes wearing skirts and shorts so short they barely cover her bottom. She's also very voluptuous and always shows cleavage. When she goes out for the evening, she shows practically everything. She takes a lot of photographs with her family, and in all of them, she's so exposed. Sometimes when she gives me prints, I have to add magic markers so she looks more modest.

She's a sweet person who is loved by everyone, so I don't know how to handle this. Please help me. She's looking for attention. Yep. So Every every woman who hits 35, 40

has to have someone sit them down and say, you're no longer 20. I think every woman needs that. This mom needs to love her enough to say, here's the deal. Guess what? Dress your age. Change your hairstyle. It's not the same as it was back when you were 20.

Your clothes shouldn't be the same as they were when they were 20. The every that they I I know I'm overgeneralizing. Every woman, they tend to whatever they did when they were their late teens, early twenties, they stick with that until someone finally tells them, you know how embarrassing that looks? They go, oh, I didn't realize it. Then they look around and go, you're right. The world has changed, and I didn't. And then they they change, and she just needs a conversation.

Yeah. I mean, it's pretty reasonable. It's her mother. She's Doing their love. She's in the best stance to have that conversation. Yeah. I would in fact, I would most likely recruit someone's mom to have that conversation Exactly. So that I didn't have to. Right. Hey. I need you to talk to your daughter about her cleavage. It's getting awkward. Out of hand. It's out of hand. It's it's gotten out of hand. I like the magic marker. That's funny. That is pretty funny. Like, I mean, I would show that to her. What did she say, hey, Missy. Look at this. I had to magic mark marker your cleavage so that I could show this off to my friends. It's creepy. Come on. Put some clothes on. Yeah. I think her mom's in the best situation to have that conversation and needs to just plainly sit down and go, daughter of mine, which I love very much. I need to talk to you from a perspective of a woman who has gone through this. I went through that age. I mean, whoever she wants to explain that, this needs to happen. You need to address my I used to show my goods out around town. Well, I mean, if she wants to sit down and told me. That's true. Why you gotta say that stuff in here? Because it's funny. Okay. Now on the other hand, though, I don't know how many daughters take fashion advice

Maybe not fashion advice. Almost need to find a peer and say, hey. You're pretty hip. I noticed you dress your age. Could you I don't think the issue here is the fashion necessarily. I think it's just the the modesty. I think Well, that's an issue in itself. Yeah. Right. I think that the mom isn't saying, well, you need to be wearing this color cardigan with that. She's saying, no. You need to be much more modest in your dressing of a family. That's all part of style of the length and Oh my god. Okay. I'd agree. It'd probably I think it'd be more important to hear it from a friend than a mom. Yeah. And if I heard something from my parents, I'd be the same way where I'd Okay. Wanna do the opposite. Because aren't you about when you get about teenagers, you're like, yeah, mom.

Yeah. You don't really know if I Yeah. Like I do. Uh-huh. He's like 40. I still yeah. I don't think that changes. Listen to your mom and dad. I think you'd Your dad comes up and says, John, your shorty shorts gotta go, man. They're out they're out of style. You'd be like, I wear what I want, dad. When he was a teenager, he learned how to ignore his parents. Yeah. He still has that skill. Okay. Alright. Alright. Let's see. So what wait. What's our, what's your your direct advice to the mom?

I think we're torn between mom needs to say it or peer needs to say it. So Yeah. I'd have if I was a mom, I would talk to the friends of the daughter. What if all what the friends are a bunch of Yeah, that's pretty awkward conversation. I mean, you know, it's easy to say, hey, yeah, just talk to the friend but I'm like, hey, man. Your mom called me. If my body comes up to me and says, hey, Troy, you're showing way too much chest hair. I'm like, hey, man. Get away from me, you creeper. Serious. Just wait till my gold chain gets there. Step away. Exactly. You you have no idea. I love says, you say your daughter is a perfect mother and wife in her forties. She may display your assets because it's been a winning combination for her so far or because her husband likes it.

Here's the deal. I mean, that happens. Yeah. That happens. Okay. The time is. Happened in public though. Says the time. Well, I mean, it does. Well, know I'm saying. There's some guys like, hey, check out the assets. Alright. I'm not saying. You killed him. Yeah. I know. It's creepy dudes. Alright. The time has long past when you should tell her what or what not to wear even if you are well meaning. The best advice I can offer is to continue wielding your magic marker and pray for colder weather.

Now here's the deal. That's a cop. Really? Here's what I would say. I I I think there's some truth to saying it is best if it comes from a friend. Right? Mhmm. But if you're gonna mark up the picture she sends you and she has to come into your house and see that you've drawn on like, that's how she knows how you feel or what you think. Because conversation with your daughter, if that's what it's coming to, like, you're like, hey, man. I don't care for the way you dress, but, like, you're not taking the magic marker, and she's not gonna be otherwise the wiser, I think that's fine. Just let if you can deal with that and hang out and hope it comes up in conversation with her friends, that's cool. But if you're taking those types of steps and she has to come in and be like, mom, what are you doing? And then she goes, well, I'm a little embarrassed of how you dress. Like, I don't know that. I would I would be hurt by that, I think, as a as a as a kid to say, what you know, I I may not agree, but why didn't you say something? Like, why are you taking those types of steps? Like, at least talk to me. That would feel dishonest to me, I think. Yeah. So if you're gonna take the steps to do the marker, I think you better say something. If you can live without it and try to avoid an awkward conversation and just you can still if can proudly show those pictures and just deal with it, then I think you should do that. Mhmm. And if all else fails, there is a whatnot to wear. You can call those people. Yeah. Yeah. If all else fails Let me embarrass you on national television. Go on national television. I don't know. We're in an issue with that so far all of if all else fails playing. I don't know. People do that stuff. That seems alright. Seems like perfectly reasonable. Hey. People are helped that way, Buba.

People get on the reality reality TV and it changes their lives for the better. Don't you. Wow. Don't you. That was a Reality. Broad statement. I don't think anyone got benefit from Jersey Shore, man, and that's reality TV. I don't think you know those people personally. Don't judge me. Oh, buddy. Okay. Don't judge me. I do not don't don't judge it. Don't judge me. Don't judge it.

Change your ways. Hey, man. You were listening live from back. What what what was it? What'd you say? What's the what's what's the what's show? It's called live from the back. Here's the deal. Life from the back is terrible. Life from the back. He needs a shave. Rough time. Live from the back of the quick trip. Alright. You've listening to live from the bath. Hibachi. Here's the deal. Here's what we here's what keep an eye on the Facebook Twitter stuff this week. But first of all, we're gonna go to the hibachi. Hibachi brooding. Hibachi. For real. Well, yeah. Yeah. Hibachi.
