On This Rock is interviewed: they open Friday on the Hard Rock stage at Spirit Midwest after a joke email 'from Dan Hudson' to Julie. Members hail from Urbandale, Winterset, and Ankeny (one a South Texas transplant); one member, Kevin, works as a U.S. postal inspector doing drug and mail investigations.
