The hammock and the wobbly table

Dominic tells a parable from the book: a husband who says 'I'll fix that later' about a wobbly glass table falls asleep and the evening ends in blood and 'I hate you'; the same scene with a firm time ('around 12:00') ends in popcorn and a movie. One tiny ambiguous word changes everything.
