God's laws as guardrails, not shackles
One host pushes back on Bolz-Weber's 'I get to determine what is good for it': no one is trustworthy enough to determine good for themselves. He argues God's laws are an elevation, not a shackle, using the Grand Canyon guardrail analogy — nobody resents the rail on the glass overlook. He concedes the purity movement's lady-focused framing was a miss: sexual purity is also men's responsibility. Another host agrees the movement went a pharisaical step too far but warns that rebelling against God's law, rather than man-made add-ons, is an obvious miss.
