Subjective vs objective reality

Triggered by the counselor story, the hosts discuss the culture's affirming of subjective experience ('speak my truth'): people genuinely take in the world differently, but there is still an objective reality — God does not change, His commandments do not change. A host shares his own constant anxiety as a case of feelings being deceitful while the objective truth ('you shouldn't be anxious about this') stands. Empathy for how someone feels is not incompatible with bringing truth.
