Acts 2: discipling was everybody's job, not Ben and Dan's
Boova says this year will expose the church's lack of real relationship with its groom - "this is our job. This isn't on god. This is on us." Mike argues the church has relaxed what Acts intends for hierarchy: in Acts 2, regular people did what, in their world, Ben and Dan are responsible for - discipling family, talking about Jesus - while the apostles kept preaching and teaching. Nobody invited anyone to church; they invited them to their house. He skewers the dodge of telling people to come to church so Dan or Ben will explain Jesus - if someone asked you about Jesus, what would you say? The hosts joke that Mike and Muba are out: a bunch of window lickers, no disciples.
