How much does theology really matter?
The hosts take up the docket's hard question: does theology matter? A pastor's systematic-theology-as-automobile analogy argues the doctrines are engineered to work as one vehicle (Chevy/Ford/Volkswagen) and that pick-and-choose theology breaks the system, with Calvinism and Arminianism steering eschatology and the doctrine of sin. Counterpoints: Jesus' sound theology is what let him defeat Satan's scripture-quoting in the temptation; good theology inoculates against a Facebook friend's Book of Enoch claims and doomsday-prepper 'seventh seal' talk. But the room cautions against fealty to a system over the questions, and against systematizing the wildness of the Holy Spirit out of existence.
