Daddy Yankee, Lil Nas X, and celebrity conversions
Celebrity-conversion news roundup. Daddy Yankee, a writer of Despacito, has come to know the Lord and says he is giving up rapping: 'why would I wanna gain the whole world and forfeit my soul?' Rob Schneider has come to Catholicism. Lil Nas X has announced a 'Christian era' while saying it will not impact his sexuality — the hosts find it commercial, noting Tyrese Gibson's Instagram warning that people should stop playing with God. The segment lands on a caution: do not treat celebrity conversions as personal victories; the kingdom of heaven is not more excited because the soul is famous.
