'In Jesus': the story behind the song and the performance
CJ explains the song grew out of a hard, unemployed year in Winterset when someone gave him Romans 8 - 'God before me, who can be against me... works all things for good' - and the realization that being 'more than a conqueror' means God secured the victory so his sons don't have to hold the ground themselves (unlike Alexander the Great).
