It’s pretty easy to call balls and strikes, here, especially in a game we only find interesting when it interrupts our regularly scheduled programming. It doesn’t mean they aren’t actually balls and strikes, it means that there is a much longer, nuanced and complicated story that we must engage if we are to participate honestly in the conversation.
