Did the angels actually sing at the birth?

The hosts take up the Pope's debunking of the claim that angels sang at the birth, a staple of Christmas carols. They note the angels were plainly present (Luke 2: the shepherds, 'glory to God in the highest'), whether singing or proclaiming, with one host musing the news may have been rapped ('I'm not a rapper') and another recalling a creepy 'holy, holy, holy' rendition from a Bible-on-CD in a prayer room years earlier. They conclude it makes no difference to them.

    Hard question: can demons repent?

    • Can demons — or Satan himself — repent?

A question that came up at church: can demons — or Satan himself — repent? The hosts reason that demons are fallen angels who chose against God in full knowledge, citing Hebrews 2:16 ('it is not angels that God helps'), 2 Peter 2:4, and Jude 6.

    Ghosts, demons, and familiar spirits

    • Are ghosts real, and can a deceased relative become an angel?
    • What would be the purpose or benefit for demons in impersonating dead relatives?

A long discussion on whether ghosts are real: the hosts' position is that apparitions of the dead are demonic, that 'grandpa Bob' cannot become an angel (angels are created messengers with specific purposes), and that consulting the dead violates Scripture.
