James 1 on wisdom, and the Zimbabwe street-evangelism trip
- James 1 says if you lack wisdom, ask — what about the person who asks for years and never hears back?
Asked what to do with James 1 ('if you lack wisdom, ask'), a host answers: ask, then move — wisdom is only proven in practice. One host shares that his family is going to Zimbabwe, where the local preacher wants street evangelism; the group is intimidated, but Peter was no known preacher before Acts — open your mouth and let God work. He recalls early door-to-door evangelism on Des Moines' East Side that produced a two-year Bible study.
