Discerning God's guidance in decisions

Through a spare-car example, the Acts 15 letter to Gentile believers, Jesus' temptation, and Abraham's child through his concubine, the hosts work out a rule: a faithful believer with an open heart can generally act confidently, but when God has made clear he will provide, grabbing it yourself is wrong. God's instincts increasingly become your instincts as you walk with him.
