Faithfulness, Psalm 119, and an answered-prayer testimony
- Is there a Greek word for 'believe' that is as passive as the English word?
A host reads from Psalm 119 about loving God's precepts and prays it back as 'show me how to live this out today.' He then testifies that after three months praying for a person with no interest in Jesus, asking God to send the Spirit ahead of him, he got a call: the person wants to know more. The segment closes on the Greek point that love, faith, and believe are action words in Scripture, with James and a Strong's number cited, and Jesus' 'go and do likewise.'
