Worship as tilling soil: the Mike-example mix-up
Before moving to advice, a host shares a thought that stuck with him for twenty-four hours: Mike gave a worship example the day before — or so the host thought — and the picture was that worship, prayer, and Bible reading are acts of tilling ground so God's words can soak in rather than bounce off. The room laughs when Mike reveals the host actually invented the example himself and Ben complimented it as Mike's. The room affirms the picture anyway: spiritual disciplines open physical, emotional, logical, and spiritual capacities at once, creating fresh ground for God to work with.
