Faith at idle: bulldozers, light, and first-love longing
Ben confesses a painful tension: he believes the facts about Jesus completely but feels dissociated from the joy and repentance that should accompany them, and he wants the feeling back. Mike offers two images: a bulldozer that should leave knocked-down trees behind it if it is really driving, and a room light that has filled the room but could spill much further if a window were opened. Dan closes the block urging everyone to plan something that interrupts their schedule with urgency, and listeners are invited to share stories on the Bob Eisenlauer complaint line.
