Provision stories: carloads of beef and grandpa's church

Dan recalls his young-family years of not knowing where the next meal came from, when people would pull up with a carload of beef more than once, and choosing to watch God show off. Boova jokes it takes a certain kind of life to look hopefully at a crate of mystery beef. Ben tells of his grandpa, a Baptist pastor in a South Sioux City, Nebraska trailer park with no set salary, whose congregation quietly slipped him money and showed up with half a pig, a goose, or a car. Ben's point: this is not prosperity manifesting, but staying open enough to notice God acting positively, because a grousy worldview will not see it. His sermon answer to "what is this world coming to" is glory, and Christians should be hope dealers.
