What you can promise on God's behalf
The hosts conclude you cannot promise happiness - Jesus never guaranteed it, and promising things God never said risks presenting a false Jesus - but you can promise peace, and the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, self-control; cited on-air as Galatians 6) growing as you submit to Christ. They stress transformation is not instant: rehab, accountability, and chemical dependence still matter. One host's bottom line: 'I'm not the perfect example of a Christ follower, but I am a perfect example of God's grace' - and every believer is the 'Jesus representative' for their own workplace and circle.
