Worship music vs Christian music — the honesty defense
- What distinguishes worship music from Christian music, and what belongs in each?
The hosts react to the editorial. One draws a line between worship music (strange-fire category — a solid no for profanity) and Christian music generally. He likes a song with 'fear can go to hell' in the chorus and argues some American swear words carry no biblical weight, though words degrading God-honored things have no business in Christian music. The 'honesty and real' justification is critiqued as a cover for refusing God's holiness.
