Boova: your heart is supposed to break at judgment
Boova argues the discomfort is the point: we pray for God to stop real evil (the man beating his wife) and agree with his intervention there — our real problem is discomfort that the stick-collector's offense was "bad enough." We lack appreciation for God's holiness. We're built to desire mercy for people and to hope for more mornings of grace; only God can be trusted with when judgment is appropriate — humans given life-and-death power make dictatorships.
