Dear LFTP: the locked door and natural consequences
The hosts advise the father to have a loving, honest conversation with his daughter rather than forbidding the relationship — forbidding it changes nothing, and she is an adult. As a householder he can set a landlord-style boundary: 'my door locks at midnight.' They reject the Secular answer (read aloud and mocked) for threatening to disown her, and argue you cannot be held hostage by someone's threatened bad decisions — act wisely and lovingly, and respect that people make their own choices.
