Habit 6 (always solving their problems) is skipped as already covered. Habit 7: respect is a two-way street — once kids are old enough to recognize you can't physically force them, threats stop working and you have to stop threatening force. Ben: by the time they realize they can say no, you've already spent ten years instilling that you are trustworthy — or the opposite.
