Mike's sixth annual hymn sing
Mike tells the origin story of his yearly hymn sing: after losing a job, he and his wife bought a cheap foreclosed house with nine acres and decided to dedicate the land to God with an annual hymn sing, now six years in with 200+ people. This year, unlike the first five, God did not calm the wind — the projector ripped, water spilled on the piano — and the crowd shouted 'fresh wind, fresh fire.' He reflects on missing the event's best parts while running it, and wonders when God will replace him in both the hymn sing and youth ministry.
